Russian Standard St Petersburg Vodka
$29 .. nice price for a nice vodka. Thanks op
Anyone know what the before price was?
Qld prices… ymmmv ….$30 at FirstChoice. Thirsty Camel $41. Bottlemart, $35. Can be $45. Cant say what Dan wanted.
I bought a bottle of the Gold Standard last week and it wa slike $42. I think the Standard one was about $4 cheaper.
$38.99 just 2 days ago.
Do cashrewards give you cashback if you use gift cards to pay?
yes.
Yep, confirmed this the other day. Stacking works nicely and cash back on member offer discounts is calculated on the full price, not the discounted price you actually pay. I gave an example here.
How does this compare with Trump Vodka?
Trump Vodka leaves a foul taste in your mouth
Must be the high urine content.
They both taste the same like all vodka.
This is fake vodka. It's not even a real vodka. All other vodka's are fake. Trump is the only real vodka.
Lol..You must be referring to alternative facts.
Trump Vodka gave me the courage to grab her by the…..
left inner ear lobe
This vodka is really good. You should drink it straight though, best with some traditional Russian appetiser like pickles, boiled potato, herrings and caviar.
Agreed. Damn that made my mouth water, pickles and mustard herring with ice cold vodka. What could go wrong.
Expensive for 700 mills, neigh? A bargain only in Australia.
Well…. we are in Australia
I went to BWS and it's $45, even though it's the same business they wouldn't price match, what a joke haha
Picked this up at first choice the other day on special for $30. Cheapest I'd seen it prior was $34 at Aldi. Normal special would have it $4 off $42.
It's actually really good vodka for the $25-45 (700ml) price range.
Got these for $25each when the topdrops deals were running at FCL. Not bad but i think the Aldi vodka at $27 is alright given its consistent price and reasonable taste.
Let's not forget that, on this bottle, we are paying $21.88 of excise alone. The remaining $7.12 for the product.
That's about right.. in Russia it costs 10-12$.
Thanks OP, this will be a good present for myself on the Valentine's day.
Is it me or wasn't this vodka 40% alcohol previously?
It still is 40% duty free, so it's quite likely it used to be 40% domestically too.

Many spirits are sold at 40% (or higher) when they first arrive on the Australian market because 40% is the min. for USA and UK. But if Aussies buy enough, it becomes economical for them to change the formula to the Australian min. for a separate bottling.
And some liqueurs have even gone below the min. ABV for spirits, e.g. Galliano used to be 38%, now 30%.
Still got a bit left from a previous deal, so good time to restock. Don't drink vodka much, but not bad with a bit of ginger beer (or refresher and soda water) with lime juice.
Spent Christmas in Russia. 500ml Russian standard 40% alcohol was for 360 rubles - $8 aud… so for $29 you could get 1800ml of that heaven's drink. LoL
Lol yeah sure it's def cheaper but how much did it cost you to get to Russia? .
I'd lie that it's free using russian embassy and telling them that I ran out of money and want to return to the motherland. But actually it was around $1400 actually to fly during christmas season :)
After 1800mL you'd surely go to heaven as well.
In Russia vodka drinks you.
Yep, What Michael1983 said but I spent Christmas in Poland and for 700ml, 25.99zloty which is $9.79AUD. Australia TAX…
