It's part of Lenovo's clearance sale, preparing for an updated lineup I guess. Also note that IdeaPad is Lenovo's consumer line, similar to Inspiron & XPS at Dell. These aren't ThinkPads so some might refuse to use them (WTF no trackpoint?!) Some of these IdeaPads are also sold in retail channel so you can take a look in shops. For example the same IdeaPad 710S at Harvey Norman.

  Surely Lenovo read this site and can understand that OzBargainers are desperate for a repeat of the T460S deal? I would have thought they would have wanted to clear them out given the specs are getting on a bit now. It's a nice laptop for $930 after cash rewards and would suit me perfectly. If they don't bring it back I'll have to go for a XPS15 from Dell outlet, but saving some money would be nice, and heard lots of good things about Lenovo T series.

    Their T series are still top notch, shame about their X-2XX series from what I understand my X-220 despite being more than 4 years old now is still highly regarded over the newer model. (Though I can't use it for work as the screen resolution isn't good for spreadsheets and project schedules.

        Well Yoga is much more versatile than X1 Carbon, I would pick that if money isn't much of a concern ie top model.

  Pretty nice laptop I have one. Light, and thin bezel so it's quite compact.
