I love Chobani, lovingly made and packed by refugees.
The mango one and the raspberry one are my favourite.
You work there?
Hmm wonder why you got negged? This is one of the reasons i prefer to support Chobani.
Hmm wonder why you got negged?
That's Ozbargain for you.
What I posted is factually true and I think Chobani is a wonderful success story, doubt if any of the neggers even have a clue about the company.
Stocked up the other week when they were $1.12 at Coles. Still plenty in the fridge but I'll be stocking up again - thanks!
Edit: Does anyone remember the Yogo banana custard from the 90s? The banana and strawberry tub tastes exactly like it!
They need to bring back yowhip.. that was so good
what kind of best before date do these carry? how long do they last opened in the fridge usually?
I leave the 900g tubs open all week and they're fine, they just need a mix as the water separates out. 900g tubs are a bit different as they have a plastic cap on them. I'd say just keep them sealed and you should be right
cheers :)
Got some of the smaller ones in my fridge from a couple of weeks ago which are best before early March.
Time to stock up on the passion fruit ones.
Am I the only one who actually doesn't like chobani? Maybe it's the lack of sugar lol
Same with me. I would prefer to have Danone
Yep. Much prefer Gippsland yoghurt. Mmmmm…
Tried the caramel one recently, so good.
I really need to start making my own, it'll have less sugar all round lolBut sugar is your friend!
Munki - check the package.
'Gippsland yoghurt' is not actually made in Gippsland - it's Chobani yoghurt under a different brand name, same company/factory.But they taste different?
Lack of sugar? They're full of it.
I prefer Jalna but go for chobani when they're on sale
It is absolutely packed with sugar, which one of the reasons the brand is so successful.
Finding natural yoghurt without added sugar is very difficult, I only eat Jalna Biorganic, love the mildly sour taste and thickness. They used to have another similar but cheaper product they took off the market sadly. Probably 90% of the yoghurt on shelves has excessive amounts of added sugar or fruit that is a sugary puree, I wonder how many people think they are healthy eating this stuff.I prefer Gippsland too, and in comparison, chobani tastes like it has less. Both owned by the same company too!
Have you tried coconut yogurt? I find that it's not as sour so I don't need as sweet.
nocure u the mvp. will be stocking up bigtime (been a while since a decent chobani special).
also much prefer getting them from woollies than coles because coles never seems to have the good and/or special flavours (think strawberry banana, black cherry)
Coconut ftw.
Thanks Op! I just hope my local Woolies have enough left. Last time I had to drive around around the town to find enough chobani to fill up my ute.
Can these freeze ?

Safe/good for toddlers?
Pretty high sugaar content
If you want low to no sugar get the light blue ones plain flavor. its pretty much high protein(17g) yogurt. Of-course if your not use to it, you will get gag reflex lol. I make my own flavors with it - alittle cinnamon, nuts and chopped up banana. If you want a high protein after workout snack, its pretty good and cheap.
The plain one is great with a dash of honey stirred through it.
My favorite too!Especially with cinnamon and banana. Chobani has higher protein per 100g than other yogurts.
does chobani have a lactose free variant?
tyvm, time to stock up on the chobez
