I've got the model below this and it's amazing. Pressure cooking is so easy and it's really made increased the types of dishes that I make, especially in the winter.

  • Any thoughts on how this would compare to the Tefal Cook 4 Me?

  • was waiting for a discount on it. snapped one up thanks!

  • Had the original Breville pressure cooker and upgraded to this one and my partner and I are so happy we did.

Well worth the money in my opinion.

  • Wow all the people who like their machines, what are you making with it? I was given one but never use it, even after looking through their cookbook/manual. It didn't look simple to me.

    • I have one of these and it's my favourite appliance. Don't be intimidated, it just takes a bit of experimenting to get used to. The only thing to watch out for is any soft veggies (e.g. pumpkin) will just become mush if cooked for too long. There's a lamb shank massaman recipe in the which I recall being pretty straightforward, you can just used pre-made sauce from a jar if you don't want to make your own from scratch. Good luck!

    • Hey Janeymac one of our favourites is slow cooked beef cheeks over 6 to 8 hours.
We also use it to pressure cook rice as its so easy while cooking. In the new one we Steam dumplings. And they make great curries.

  • hows this compared to the Philips HD2137?
