    portable wireless speaker on steroids

    How many mls a day

    • Enough to blast some Dank beats.

  • Just bought one! Thanks :P Not sure why the black is $20 more expensive, i got the red though!

  • Do Bing Lee have a history of matching the price for instore purchase?

UPDATE: Just realised it does offer click & collect however my local store has no stock. Maybe new model being released?

  • Where does it say this is manufactured by logitech?

    • Logitech own UE

  • Can anyone comment on the performance difference between this and the ue boom 2?

    • Its supposed to be louder, think thats it.

    • if you head in to any jbhifi they have all three models set up next to each other with demo buttons so you can hear the difference. its just each one gets louder and bassy-er thebigger you go, and also longer running time off the battery too. megaboom has 20hour run time from memory. all three models are ipx7 waterproof meaning 1m submersion for 30 minutes.

    • I've had both in my hands, played music through both, updated their firmware, used the apps
      my comments
…. the Mega Boom is larger, heavier & has deeper bass…. of course it can also go louder…

seems the "app" for the Mega BOOM is different the the Boom 2…. which seems silly…but …

if you had 2 x boom2 in your bag, it wouldn't be that heavy, but 2 x Mega BOOM is a fair bit of weight

  • Thanks guys, already have a boom 2 and was trying to decide what to pair it with. Another boom 2 sounds like the way to go with a different app for the mega boom

    • I've paired 2 x boom2…. you're right I think it probably would be easier with the common app..
it is possible (using buttons on device), so you could pair the mismatched types, but I think for less technical users, the app works really well! (especially if all Boom's are on latest firmware)

I highly recommend leaving the setting on for remote power ON! simplifies pairing quite a bit

  • I have the Megaboom and like it, though I have had two replacements under warranty. I have friends with the boom 2 and from my experiences I would go for boom 2 and buy a second one when they're on sale so you can double up when needed. Logitech customer service has been great and I would recommend UE products just for the customer service.
