Nice price for a 1.5TB drive but unfortunately I only have 4 sata ports on my motherboard and have ran out of free sata ports. I already have a 2tb, 1.5tb, 1tb and another 1tb drive in my computer so the next drive I get it will have to be atleast a 2TB drive to make sure I don't run out of space any time soon.

I just got this drive and all I can say its crap the read speeds are like 2.8 MS/sec
something is wrong… very wrong… are you writing to an SD card!? (cause then your write speed would be limiting your read speed!)
or have you got it plugged into via USB 1.1 externally?read speeds should be around 70Mbs…
most modern drives are 70-100…try running "hdtune" on it and seeing how you go…

yes there are jumpers treied using them also tried different pc using sata getting about 1.8MB/s using HD tune
