Well I don't know a specific restaurant, but there are many nice places down at pyrmont, some are along the harbour if I remember correctly (went there a few years back).
Cafe Sydney on top of Customs House has awesome views if you get an outside balcony spot. You can request it but the balcony might already be full.
It's never full during lunch on Valentines Day. Dinner is another story.
Centrepoint Tower Buffet? There was also this nice RSL type club that was sort of near Luna Parkish.. Their bistro overlooked the whole CBD water views and all..
If you're going to Centerpoint, unless you're a glutton it's better value to eat in the a la carte restaurant IMHO…the chew & spew is too heavily laden with bogans & dumbass tourists for the exorbitant price tag.
Minimum $60 lunch & $75 dinner for bain-marie slop is a rort…
Yeah, pretty average buffet. Paying for the location.
Depending on what stage in the relationship you're in, but why not a picnic ?
I find it more intimate and informalWhat is your budget? I would think most of the main ones would be booked out already anyway…
Hard Rock Cafe
Hurricanes in Darling Harbour
Tramsheds in Glebe then walk down to the park and chill out by the water.
The city smells like sewerage and smoke.I think the one at the aquatic centre near Luna park is gorgeous. Is it called, The Deck? You should maybe see a movie and do dinner on the Friday night to avoid rip offs.
Mosmans in Mosman Park WA is charging $165 pp for an avg three course dinner. Rip offs abound on Valentine's Day.
McDonald's?
