shipping is 25% for international orders so it kinda "cancels out" the discount. still a good buy for some items that would be more expensive in Oz.
Is it 25% shipping on footlocker.com? It looked like a $40 flat rate when I tried a few things earlier — and when I bought from them earlier in the year it was a $25 flat rate. I do believe the 25% shipping rate applies to eastbay.com, rather than footlocker.com (as per Maxx Power's comment below).
But yes, even with the expensive shipping there are still bargains to be had (relative to Aussie prices, at least). :)
I just bought a pair of slides from Footlocker store (in brisbane), and i thought "shit" when i saw this deal, maybe i could have got some cheaper from usa website with this coupon.
Added the cheapest pair (USD$20), and shipping for "up to 30 days" delivery was $40. $5 off with the coupon, = USD$55 = AUD$61.50.

I brought from a similiar site (eastbay.com) with 20% off right now. The shipping was also $40 but the price works out to be a good deal if you buy a few pairs - $320 worth of shoes worked out to be $190AUD from there all up.
i bought quite a bit from them before and they ship by UPS… it usually arrives in about a week so not bad.
These deals come up all the time; not a bargain.
25% off usually come up every three months :P
you should also check eastbay and champssports as their databases are linked. same price same products.
$40 shipping to Australia ?
Just because they come up "all the time" does not mean they are not a bargain, they come up maybe 4 times a year. I'm sure OzBargainers not on Footlockers mailing list appreciate the heads up. These prices including shipping kill Aussie prices especially when the item is on sale.
E.g. last years Nike Mercurial top of the range boots were US$220, down to US$70 + US$25 shipping - discount = BARGAINFootlocker and Eastbay are affiliated with each other. They both usually have good discounts closer to US public holidays. It would be a bargain if you purchase with friends or buy 3+ shoes per order.
Footlocker is owned by Eastbay. They recently changed their shipping policy to Australia from $35 + $4 per item to a standard 20% (or 25% ?).
What these 20% / 25% vouchers really mean is "free shipping to Oz"..!!
Their shipping service has really picked up though. It used to take 2-3 weeks, now you get your stuff in less than a week.
If you go to Eastbay.com you will usually see a 20% coupon on the top of the page..
They use UPS Priority now, don't they? I remember a few months ago I bought a pair of shoes on Friday night (our time) and they arrived here on Monday morning, which was amazingly quick. :)
yeh, I bought a pair of soccer boots from them about a month ago and they arrived here from the U.S in less than 3 days.
If you buy a large volume of things then the discount actually works out really well, otherwise it can be pretty pricey for postage.
Wow, they've really jacked up their shipping charges — back on May 21 they had a 30% off coupon, and I only paid $25 shipping to Australia. Now they want $40 shipping for the same pair of shoes.
