*$314.56 via credit card or $319.82 via PayPal.

I never thought I would do a post but I saw another post for like $350 and people were tempted.
So I thought I'll share the price when I bought it for my dad.
Phone is amazing for the price as far as I see it, dual sim helps lots to use up the all of the $1 sims from 7/11.
Delivery was also pretty fast

  • I just paid $379 for the 16GB one at TGG, and am happy with that.

This is a great price for the 32GB version.

I think the other deal is AU stock which worth to pay $41 extra.
This is a grey stock which will be worthless when it comes to the warranty.

    • Is it me or I thought 32gb version wasn't available in Australia?

    • depends how quick you need a phone …. mine was from HK as I could afford to wait …. great phone and has band 28.

If you need it in a hurry and AU support, pay the extra $40 …….still great phone.

Cheaper at their sister site eGlobal: $311 shipped, see deal

This deal is actually $314.56 via credit card or $319.82 via PayPal. Need to include this 1.8 or 3.5% surcharge. I'll update the deal to include it.

Some might prefer paying $40 extra to get Australian stock from mobileciti.

    • My mate's G4 Plus battery failed that he bought from eGlobal. Had to ship it back at his cost and waited 8 weeks wait to confirm battery was stuffed. He was offered store credit or nothing. I wouldn't risk grey stock personally to save $40.

    • oh yeah looks like I messed up between eglobal and dwi, I bought it from eglobal for $311 sorry guys

      • Just edit the deal and change the link to eglobal.

  • The specs are great - like a flagship model from a year ago or so.
    What is missing?

Does it have the "wave to wake" feature of the Moto X? (Next best thing to an always-on amoled display).

      What is missing?

From previous deals the main thing people mention that it's missing is NFC, mainly for those wanting to use Android Pay, apart from that I think it has everything else most users would want.

Does it have the "wave to wake" feature

      No wave to wake:

"With there being no sensors on the front, it is entirely contingent on motion. You can’t wave your hand over the display to wake up the phone" from AA.

      • missing is NFC, mainly for those wanting to use Android Pay,

Yes, I've used NFC for lots of things, but that's the only real non-gimmicky use :)
Actually, I'm not sure Android pay is all that useful, except for that one time I was at the checkout and found I'd left the wallet at home :)

  • Second sim works garanteed with 3g?

    • Yes, see here for previous discussion/explanation.
