  • BTW spotted this at Costco yesterday. It was $360 off the Costco price bringing it down to $3989 - not bad given this means warranty for the life of your membership. It was $3589 up until 13 Jan at Costco but unfortunately that offer is over.

    • +1

75X8500D was 2999 @costco on black friday, so any price above that is a high price.
electronics depreciate , should depreciate in price after 2 months of a 2999 low.

      • I did read about that price on a previous post:

I didn't need a TV at that time but sort of need one now (there is a mount attached on the wall but no TV, but I have other TV's I could watch). Is this a good enough price to pull the trigger now or do I wait. If I wait, how long do I wait, as things are always getting better and cheaper.

        • Wait…3600 is the new normal for this TV. At this price Ur not saving rather buying at marketplace. No Deal!!….let's see what comes around Australia Day

        • @Jabberwocky:

OK, thanks for the advice. I can wait.
10% off is OK, but surely there will be better in the next few weeks.
Electronics are continually depreciating as you said.
