OK..I made two New Years resolutions, Firstly to start flossing, and I did it; 12:01 January first, BAM! Blood everywhere. Secondly to lose weight, so i have been looking for an activity tracker and found this one. Now tracking my activity isn't going to need a high tech fandangled gismo cause it's basicly from computer-fridge-mailbox-computer. Would this be suitable?

i charge mine once every 4 days. Pop watch out of band, put into charger and place back when done. it's anything but annoying.

No more difficult than taking it off and back on your wrist.

  • The MiBand2 is a great activity tracker at a very reasonable price.

I don't feel like fitbits are made to last.
The amount you pay for them you would think they would last for more than a year but mine have never.
There is always something falling off or breaking on them.

    • this 100%, I'd personally tell people to avoid them after the issue i'm currently having. I've replaced my original fitbit within a year of buying and now having issues replacing the second fitbit ( lasted 10 months). Fitbit are refusing to budge and are sticking to their 12 months only warranty card and refusing to acknowledge ACL (aus consumer law). Going to make a complaint to ACCC and head to office works to get it replaced/refunded.

For those wondering i went through fitbit first as they normally have good cust. service, however be aware that they have recently clamped down on exchanges and now will only do it within 12 months of the purchase date.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good tracker and does it's job well, but it's not worth paying the high price only to have headaches down the track (in my opinion).

I'm onto my third Charge HR in around 18-24 months, love them regardless!

One wrist band broke, one battery died and I broke one when cycling (ouch!).

Bought at TheGoodGuys locally and they instantly swapped them over, no issues! (on the two)

    TDLR; Buy one locally.

  • I'm interested my third Fitbit One… The first late about a month before I lost it. The second went for over two years, replaced by Fitbit as it has sync issues. This current one is close to two years as well. My only issue is the silicon Case/clip (not a problem on the blaze) they break and tear. My dealings with Fitbit have been very good. My sister also had her Charge HR replaced over Christmas by Fitbit (2nd replacement in 2yrs). They seem to be reasonable, and i'd buy again based on my experiences.

TL:DR has Fitbit replace many trackers between myself and my sister. Would but again, but they don't seem to last. Clips and straps are consumables
