Hi, just want to share. Nintendo DSi XL on special. Now $249.00 at Good Guys. The catalogue start 20 July until 2 August 2010. I've been waiting for this…It's only about $10.00 - $15.00 from Nintendo DSi. Nintendo DSi XL is bigger version of it. I'm in Victoria. Don't know whether it's national wide offer.
Not necessarily. The screens on the 3DS have different aspect ratios and AFAIK they won't be as big as the DSi XL. For pure DS gaming I'd still consider a DSi XL.
Wait 8 months because there's going to be a better model released? 8 months..ROFL..might as well never buy anything ever again because a new and better model of it will be out next year…
What I was going to say. 3D looks awesome XD. You're better off waiting. $250 is a fair amount for something that'll end up obsolete (I gather it's the reason for the sale now). But if you've got the dough to spend and you want the XL then… it is a good deal.
just bought one for my youngest from the target toy sale
$299+ two free games avatar and toy story 3 and some other stuff that came in the bundle.
also picking up a supercard DSTWO
it'll keep her happy for a while
The DS Lite guitar hero bundle for $100 was a much better deal. I used my staff discount card to get $10 off, and flogged the game on ebay for $30 and ended up with a brand new DS lite for $60.
I would rather wait for another deal like that or the 3DS rather than buy an XL.

Id wait for the Nintendo 3D, its due out in March it will make all the current models obsolete…..guess it depends if you need your DS fix for the next 8 months….better off getting a second hand DS XL in my opinon then you make less of a loss in March when you update.
