3.14 in the quarter mile if fitted to a turbo prop
yeah that all good and all until i sit on it.. what the power to weight ratio with 92kg of weight ?
Dunno,
but you should lose some weight@Beach Bum: hahaha couldn't i just add a bigger turbo?? looks to me you're working harder not smarter
bought from previous deal, for the price it's okay, however I wouldn't recommended, the cushion in front is a bit too high for me.
thanks judy !
I can see it.
Sydney to Melbourne charity race,

It's all downhill anyway, rightWill i do better online in Forza if i buy this??
Maybe if you upgrade the shocky
Only if you pair this chair with this NOS Sticker.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NOS-Car-Vinyl-Sticker-Decal-Silve…Has to be the red sticker or this will not work.
Previous discussion about the same chair, last time for $79.

Any reviews for this chair? is it exactly same as the SuperCheap one?
is it exactly same as the SuperCheap one?
Did you look at the images?
Quiet regulary I find a SCA branded product which takes my interest.
On many occasion I have found the identical item (minus SCA branding) on eBay ex china for a fraction of the price. As an example I bought this Cable Puller last year for $23 delivered.
Shame it's not available in orange.
But great deal if you're after the white, black or grey versions
Just bought this for $89 (with THANKS20 eBay voucher, expires tomorrow I believe):

The arm wrests and base seems nicer, but the actual chair structure seems the same.
3 years warranty claimed in the auction (for what it's worth on eBay anyway), if it lasts the full 3 years frankly I would be happy for the price.
I also bought one of those last night with CAU10 (10% off). Reviews are very positive.
Got it, for the price I'm pretty happy. As usual, way too short for me (190) and I would have liked it to be more upright vs. reclining (only lift controls) but the cushioning is pretty thick and should last a while.
@RedSky: I'm guessing i'll feel the same way. I'm 196cm and prefer more upright.
Thanks.
They got more stock in so ordered the orange one with the CAU10 code so only cost $81 delivered to Melbourne.
Oh nice the back is half mesh which is I believe is different from the Officeworks Bathurst Chair, which is PU all the way. That way you can sit on it nekkid in summer and only your butt will stick to the chair.
If only the arm rests were straight I'd get it to replace my 3 year old OW Baku chair that's peeling pretty bad and is running low on cushion left.
Wow you are heavy on your chairs. I also have the OW Bathurst chair. I've had it for 4 years and there's no peeling. The OW chair also has fold back arms.
Bought this last year for $79 via ozbargain and it's still going strong.
Pros: Easy to clean, sturdy, durable, nice support and quite comfortable.
Cons: Not ideal for summer at all, unless you have aircon on or a fan blasting at you the whole time. Sticks to your thighs and buttcheeks. How about you put some shorts on instead of sitting butt naked on it? 😜
Explains the easy to clean comment.
Sitting on my computer chair nekkid is one of my fav past times!
So what you're saying is not ideal for w*nking on and sitting naked in
I bought this from the last deal for $80 or whatever it was. Really happy with it, comfortable, adjustable, and because of the red colour i now type 50% faster.
I bought it last deal, horrible chair, I dont use it, just get the one from Staples instead.
I'm so sorry if I'm hijacking the post, but I really need some help.
I got this exact same chair (from eBay) and what happened was that the armrests are too tall for my desk (the armrests are higher than my computer desk). This makes typing and using my mouse extremely uncomfortable because I have to bend my hands down in order to use the keyboard and mouse.
The only thing I can think of is to exchange the armrests that came with this chair and replace with something less taller such as this one:
Do any of you guys happen to know someone/a place in Australia/Sydney that sells those armrests?
Cheers man, any help will be appreciated and again, really sorry to hijack the post.
Have you tried lowering the seated height of the chair
Hi mate, what's up? :)
Yup, I lowered the chair to its lowest point already and the armrests are still higher than my computer desk. Here's the thing though, the chair itself is good, the height of the chair is exactly the same as my previous computer chair (that I replaced with this one) but the armrests are just way too tall (it's round as well which adds to its overall height).
Cheers man, thanks for replying
Ah that sucks. As you mentioned maybe you might be lucky enough to find a set of arms that are lower in profile that fit.
Another option is listed the chair on Gumtree and or Face Book Classifieds.
Grab your self one of those $100 mesh back chairs from Office Works which feature the fold back arm rests.
You may not be to much out of pocket
Two ideas:
- Raise the height of your desk by standing it on bricks, or
- put a tray on your lap, and put your keyboard and mouse there.
Here's a good tray, similar to the "stable tables" that may still be available, has a bean-bag on the lower surface:
http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/50278241/
But it isn't much wider than full-size keyboard, so not much room for a mouse. Recommend Logitech "Trackman Marble" trackball.Hi mate, errrr yeah, not exactly what I want at all. The real solution is to replace those armrests with something lower so do you know if there's a store around Australia that sells those things?
You have a problem. If the arms attach to the back of the chair, as they appear to in this chair, they are almost certainly a structural part of the chair. Without them the back won't have enough strength and will collapse if you lean back. Because of this, any seller would most likely face lawsuits when someone tried this, got it wrong, and injured themself. For this reason I don't think you'll find a seller.
Two other ideas to try at your own risk:
The base of most office chairs look like they are probably compatible with each other. By "base", I means the castors, spider and gas strut. You may be able to find a suitable replacement base that sits lower, particularly if you go scavenging when your suburb has the annual "large rubbish" collection. Be aware that you won't know the weight rating of your scavenged base. You may already have another office chair you can try this with.
If you only need to drop about 60mm, consider removing the castors. Check that the bottom of the spider won't damage your floor or carpet before doing this. If the height is now good, maybe put some glides on the bottom of the spider, like these, but maybe larger:
https://www.bunnings.com.au/slideglide-22mm-blue-adhesive-fu…
The chair won't move as easily as with castors, but as the chair will still rotate easily, maybe you don't need to move the chair much. You may need to add a pillow or cushion to the chair to bring yourself back up to the "normal" height.
Hacksaw
How does it compare to the $1000 chair posted few weeks ago?
On Par if not slightly better… ;-)
Looks better ;)
Must be fast as its red!
