Everything I read puts the Fein at the top of the list for multitools. This comes with a case and various attachments and represents reasonable value for something that you will need one day! The price is reached after VAT is deducted at checkout.
It seems most retailers in Australia do not even disclose a price but instead prefer to use a "call us" approach. I did see one price for an older unit at around $550.
This is the new model that uses the Starlock Plus (tool less) attachments that they share with Bosch I believe.
I also purchased a spare one of these:

It was cheap and I am sure I will find a use for it one day.
I cant speak for the price, quality and usability of this make or model, but after buying a multitool over xmas, it is now my go to tool for diy stuff. I bought the bottom of the quality ladder ozito model (think it was $79.95) and have found pleanty of uses for it.
Now i know what kind of things you can achieve with a multitool, i will look to obtain a better model, possibly this one, in the future.
Actually, i may throw all my tools out and have a multitool, a screwdriver set and the ramrod only.
