        Generally speaking, fashion items are usually 200% - 500% or whatever more they think they can get.

        If you offered a buyer something which could only be marked up a max of 100% on their cost they'd tell you to eff off quick smart.

      SBS had a program a few months back about manufacture in China. In that one, they claimed Marks & Spencers were paying about US$10 for their jeans, that was subsequently sold at GBP50+. Of course, the media is prone to sensationsalism - the message in that program was that less than a dollar of that flowed back to the actual workers.

      there are a lot of 50% off already reduced red ticketed items which are not too bad if you can find your size. 40% of men's pants is a good deal. Might go in Saturday if thats the case to check it out.
