And if you click on the link at the bottom of the page for the PDS, ends up with "Page not found". Good work AusPost.

Insurance is issued by The Hollard Insurance Company
one of the truely dodgiest insurance companies, I have ever worked for. Avoid anything from them, they will hound you till you agree to their insurances or you change your number.
If you try and claim they will avoid paying untill you mention the FOS.AVOID
Thanks tuzii,
They also underwrite Petsure, who are third most chance of disputes on this list from FOS 2015-16 for Personal and Domestic property insurance.
Edit: (Email: [email protected]) they are Petsure.http://fos.org.au/comparativetables/2015-2016/
With regards to the Chance of Disputes, The Hollard Insurance Company are rated with the highest chance of disputes for Home Building insurance, Home and Contents and Travel insurance.
Number two for Motor VehicleSomething to be wary of, thanks again.
At first thought I was like, I didn't know Auspost are accepting pets as parcels now.
Check policies carefully and understand what you will be covered for. Not sure if this brochure is up to date but I found this using Google; couldn't readily find a direct link off the website.

Please note that any pet over 9 years old can only get bronze membership which is 65% coverage and only up to $3,000 for vet bills. From experience it can get a lot more expensive than that really quickly and other pet sites probably won't touch you after your pet gets to 8 years old; unless you have been with them prior to that.
The questions to ask with Pet Insurance are a bunch of what ifs, such as,
- dental coverage,
- excess per illness,
- continuation of cover for an illness in on year, to the next year. (Some refuse to cover and now claim this is a pre-existing condition)
- lifetime coverage after a certain age.
- Multiple pet discount.
- Euthanasia costsWe have our two Moggies covered under Petplan - (which appears to be the little girl with the curl, we had a good experience with them but others have not.)
My view is if you don't want to get Pet insurance then prepare to make a quick decision to put the animal down. The Vet bills quickly rocket up into the thousands.
Please check policy for what is NOT covered. You will be surprised.
My opinion - pet insurance = life insurance = funeral insurance = junk insurance!
All are promoted mainly on morning commercial television when it is considered that the most vulnerable are watching!
"Pets are unpredictable"… so is getting your mail.
You should focus first on what your prime business is before other ventures
So much this. They can't even deliver mail correctly or on time yet seem to constantly be trying to delve into new areas.
This is nothing to do with Aus Post. Big underwriter says to them: let us use your brand and put our leaflets in your stores, and we'll give you x% of any policy that we sell.
Big underwriter gets to use a "trusted" brand to sell more policies and Aus Post gets free money. Win-win.
To get your pet fixed ASAP do you use same day delivery
