      3 times is a stretch yes, 2.3 times if you only count the TFLOPS, only 30% if you look at CPU. But yes your point is valid, its not 3 times more powerful. However the underlying sentiment that the Pro offers greater value remains true.

        If you were going to spend $550 on a gaming unit, you'd be way better off getting a mid-low end gaming PC. Will still stomp a console performance-wise and works out to be much better value and cheaper for pretty much everything that go's with it, especially the games.

  Is this a deal ?

  Are there guide lines as to what really constitutes a deal or is it completely subjective? Like how much money saved etc. , vs regular retail price?

  Correct me if im wrong, and i'll shut my face,

  But all these random PS4 posts lately are starting to feel almost like borderline PR/marketing rather then deals… Shouldn't the Slim model 1 TB be cheaper to be considered a deal? Drive Club is a bit older, and was polarizing + Rachet and Clank is a remake which i believe has been cheaper… Uncharted 4 isnt really that new either…

  I get people are trying to help, and I get Ozbargain is accessed by a decent number of people, and reaches social media, but shouldn't we keep it to things that are a bit cheaper maybe?

  If people are finding these to be bargains, fair enough, but i kind of would expect things to be cheaper to be considered….

  I've seen game and console deals but havent posted as i didn't think they were "deal worthy" or still to close to regular retail.

  The variety of game console price posts seems to be a bit lacking at the moment…. Not trying to be picky, just saying.

  Not sure it's worth a neg, but yeah, is a shitty deal tbh.

  I got DriveClub for 15 years ago now. Uncharted 4 is 40 tops. Ratchet and Clank is 30 tops. That's 85 there. The 500gb PS4 has been 300 numerous times. That means that if you just get what's more or less the average price for all of that nowadays, you're paying 385 … so this "deal" requires you to pay 115 for an extra 500gb of storage. You can buy a 1tb PS4 compatible HDD from Harvey Norman right now for 88, and then resell the 500gb PS4 drive for probably 30/40 with no problem for people on last gen looking for a cheap HDD upgrade.

  … That being said, DriveClub is (profanity) great and really deserved better.
