Controller was $78. Watch Dogs 2 game was $45. Flying out soon so wanted to get everything on one receipt for the GST claim at airport.

  • This was the same price EB offered for Boxing Day sale.

When are they going to start doing bundles for the PS4 pro?! :(

  • Paying us $20 to take IW seems about right

They did this for $386 or something similar during Black Friday. During those sales, I asked Harvey Norman to match the price online and i guess the girl got confused and instead of price matching to $386 like i asked, she price matched $309 which was the price the 500GB stand alone console that was also on sale that weekend.

Anyway, I ended up getting the 1TB IW bundle for $309, then i got $100 back from Amex with a promo they were running and also sold COD IW for $50 so ended up getting the 1TB console for $160.

    • A bit new with selling games online, should I opt for selling the COD IW online or go for a trade in at EB? I think its worth quite a bit of trade-in value since the game is pretty new.

      • Don't think you'll get much at EB. Better off selling on Gumtree/Ebay.

I normally just sell on ebay, you will get near full retail value…but you have to remember ebay will take 10% of your selling price once sold and paypal another $1-2.

I've never traded in at EB so i can't be sure, best to maybe call and ask what you would get from them and then see what you could get on ebay.

      • I sold mine on eBay about 2 weeks ago for $86. Definitely sell online, just make sure to make it clear that you can email code quickly/that it's not a physical copy

        • damn, that's good!

        • @Luke o: It was more than my buy it now price! I think the two bidders just got caught up in the thrill of the hunt :)

    • Wish the guy I dealt with at HN was as dumb as that. Mine price matched the target $389 price, then I got the Amex $100 back.

Have installed but not played IW yet.

      • I went into store and the guy said they couldn't do it because it came with stan and wasn't exactly the same product which is one of their excuses so they don't have to price match. Then they ended up getting screwed over by their own sales staff so stuff 'em. That's Karma for the original dick i dealt with.

  • Does this apply for all target in Australia or is it state/store specific?

    • Should be a Nationwide deal from what the Target staff told me when I purchased mine.

      • Have checked this with at least three stores in Victoria. There is no such deal except for the ones offered online, $399 for 500GB and $459 for 1TB with 3 months of Stan. The current cheap offer is from gamesmen with $398 for the 1TB plus Stan. Hopefully they would reduce prices again for jet black slims with new white slims arriving soon.

        • Oh ok. I was just asking one of the Target staff members about PS4 Slim 1TB stock levels and they happen to mention this deal to me and they said it was available Nation wide however most store's had it on back-order as they were all sold out. Hopefully they can bring this deal back!
