There are heaps of discounts for over 60s. I'm sure there are some for over 50s. Does anyone know of some?
Thanks

Any idea what discount % there are off of Coles and woolies cards? Thanks
Haven't actually joined them myself, probably worth giving them a ring directly. I would be interested in the answer myself.
5%
@voteoften: Thanks

Sorry for the mix-up. This isn't a government Seniors card it is a club for over 50s.
"Membership of National Seniors starts from $40 for a one year single member and $50 for a one year joint membership. You can read more about the membership fees on this website".

My doctor said that the free test wasn't that good and that if you have private insurance you should get a (shudder) colonoscopy and that if you had private insurance you'd pay almost nothing. In my instance, I'm paying $50 for a procedure that costs about $3000.
Had the colonoscopy, 'cause the family has a history of polyps. All clear (Thank Diety). The procedure if OK, it is the prework that is the less pleasant aspect.
I'm doing it next week. Shudder….
@voteoften: This is my experience of it. Not as bad as you think, but don't plan on moving too far from the toilet, once you start drinking the mixture.
