After the previous deal posted here for $219 without the extra wireless controller I rang around and found this deal. I bought one myself I only tried it at one store. I was charged $247 not $248 as per the photo.

It was at HN in Dandenong VIC, I can't find the manufacturing date or the serial number :) it is covered by another sticker.
Do report back the manufacture date after you open the box

Hopefully they have some left this weekendIt should also tell you the serial number on the back of the console. Go to http://xbox360glitches.com/xbox-360-system/working-out-the-x… and you should be able to make out the manufacture date.
The manufacturing date is the 24/03/2010.

Anyone manage to get this in WA? I tried a store in Perth and they said they wouldn't match it… Closest they had was 299 for the same minus a controller, plus three crappy kids games.
I would say tell them about Microsoft Redemption and they will go crazy and might give you good price.

This deal is available at HN 822-826 Marion Road Marion SA 5043, just came from them. THey have about 15-20 left in stock at this price. Sales bloke was a very nice chap if anyones interested. Machines are JTAG, they are 2010 stock for those interested.
