Estwing E24A Hatchet/Axe - $75 + Post

Estwing's "Sportsman's" Axe is a brilliant thing for camping or even as a mantle piece decoration! It's made from a single piece of forged tool steel, meaning that the head can never ever fly off. The steel retains its super sharp (it's dangerously sharp - scares me all the time) edge for ages and many have had Estwing products last for generations. Like all Estwing products, it's still made in the USA.

Our axe is 356mm long, with an 83mm cutting edge. The grip is wound leather, and the axe comes with its own embossed leather sheaf. The head weight is around 720g with a total axe weight of 900g.

Comes with beautiful embossed leather sheath

I'm hoping this product appeals more to the Ozbargain community than the rock hammers we stock. If you see a product in our store and want us to put it on special for ozbargainers, just leave a comment and we will see what we can do.

Shipping is via Aus Post/Courier (depending on where you live). I have 4 left in stock at the moment, but will honour the deal until the 25th July (if I run out, ill have to order more in and that takes about a week)

    • Axe collector?

    Pretty good reviews.

75 is probably about right markup in price for the Australian market. The Swiss army knives got a ratio between 2x to 3x Aust price vs US price ratio.

    • It is a nice axe/hatchet, the cold steel is super smooth - feels bad using it. The cheapest I have found it selling for at a real store in Australia (apart from us) is for $161.95 inc GST.

  • I think you would get more attention if you titled it "Hatchet"
    Hatchets are cool.

    • Edited title just for you :)

  • Gary Paulsen's Hatchet anyone?

    • Wow talk about a blast from the past - great books (at the time).

His hatchet saved his life - can't say this one won't either…

  • Deal expires tonight. Cheapest online price I can find in Aus from a store is $161.95. This is under half that price.
