Scanpan Impact 9pc Cookware Set $299 + Free Shipping RRP: $899.00 @ Kitchen Warehouse

Pretty good deal I'd say! This is Scanpans superior stainless steel range and not the 'non-stick' coated sets. I've read those type of pan are what give Scanpan their rather polarising reputation. These are good quality, heavy stainless steel that won't deteriorate like other material types.

This sets RRP $899 but normally sells for around half that. It was going for $399 during the Boxing Day sales at all stores I saw. At $299 now though, I think it's hard to look past. Also, free shipping with code!

SCANPAN Impact features a heavy impact bonded base with a disk of aluminium enveloped between two layers of high quality stainless steel to provide optimal heat transfer and retention. For maximum durability, the walls of SCANPAN Impact are made from 18/10 stainless steel, while the base has an 18/0 stainless steel protector, ensuring that the cookware is suitable for all energy sources, including induction.

  • I have these.

They're ok, but the glass lids will get dirt/rust marks around the steel rim and the frypan handle is awful and unergonomic.

Agree. Mine has dirt stuck on the lids which is gross.

https://www.kambos.com.au/scanpan-impact-10-piece-cookware-s… Maybe worth the extra $30 for an extra piece?

  • I'm a big fan of Scanpan. I have a couple of single pieces of this type, and an entire set of the non-stick type. My parents and brother also have the same set. The non-stick stuff is in far better condition after years of use. I'm not sure why it would have a negative wrap.

  • Worst set of pans ive used. Started getting horrible discolouring almost immediately that I could never get rid of.

Much rather use non stick Circulon or Tefal over these.

  • Do you think there's a dimension somewhere where someone paid $899?

I have the 7pce, pots have been great no discolouration etc. Pan isn't the greatest.

  • To be honest, they're often sold at this price. I bought one for $249 on boxing day 2015.

  • On Alibaba same set for $25

Also Amazon regularly have sales on these for $50

    Bugger paid $899 last week

    Said no one ever…..

    • Lol..True true.. pots,pans,knives- all have random arbitrary RRP.. that no one I know has ever paid. I guess it's a feel good validation knowing you got a % disc.

  • Any recommendations on a quality reasonably priced stainless steel cooking set?
