This suitcase is purely designed for very regular travellers who need a proven strong and reliable suitcase, for anyone else then this won't give you value for money but its a good deal for anyone who is looking to purchase a Victorinox suitcase.
I cant see the gold engraving or the diamond handle
How is it better than this?
http://www.leadapparel.com/servlet/the-9128/WheeledLuggageWT…US site, check conversion and shipping.
Did
$406. please dont treat me like an idiot.I wasn't - I was pointing out to everyone that it was a US site and that the shipping is open ended :
"Order will be billed at a standard rate of $35.95 at the time of purchase and billed the difference, if any, when shipped."
@Amszi: gee thanks…….find out the difference and let me know, im the mean time carsales.com.au has this great Bentley, only $475,000 (was $650,000)
When does a 24" suitcase for $475 qualify as a bargain? … even with a free back pack.
Don't leave the price tag on it because you will not see it at the other end.RRP is $679, our $475 discounted price was last time we checked the cheapest in Australia, along with the price you get the Swiss Champ, Victorinox's most impressive Swiss Army knife and a Victorinox Lumbar Pack (waist bag)
250 bucks and you got yourself a deal.
Agreed.
If it was a Victorinox Suitcase for $50 THAT would be worthy of ozbargain, but $475 = wtf
For premium range of suitcases it is a discount. However whether you can justify spending that amount is another story e.g. $10 jeans vs $300 jeans.
Also you get better warranty for even baggage handler damage! Alot of the cheaper luggages don't have that kind of warranty.
IMO it is just an ok price, just not something I am willing to spend that much on for the size. I'm content with my Antler luggage and perhaps one day might splurge on some Victorinox.
For a suitcase that will get crushed/stomped on/ thrown about by handlers?
How about DON't purchase a $475 "discount" suitcase and have a nice holiday on the Gold Coast instead. 8p
