I reckon. I still can't believe the re-enact the civil war each year
American history is filled with murder, genocide and mass scale destruction. This is "their" humor and national pass time.
Sounds like the history of most countries…
Hurr durr Amerikkka is bad
Watch out edgelord, you might cut yourself.
Welp, you could always "press X to pay respects".
Sorry, but this is iPad only!
Sorry yes. I will update the title
I always think its interesting when remakes of these classic games end up being 100 times the size of the original or more. I just had a look at the ROM size for the Amiga version and its like a 615kb zip vs 69.6mb for the ipad version. Naturally it likely has updated higher res graphics (and maybe sound?) on iOS but still amazing size difference all the same.
69.6MB for modern high res graphics and sound is actually pretty damn good. A lot of games are 10x bigger nowadays.
Yeah… but then you get amazingly compact little games like Mekorama which sits at about 9mb and can even add new levels via a QR code that contains every piece of data needed for the level. Crazy stuff. http://appshopper.com/games/mekorama
Like saving a blank word doc… 20 kb for what!? Overheads for a "0 bit" text file… Makes you think in relative terms: how much bigger are our storage devices really!?!?
Loved this game on the Amiga way back in circa 1989 (yes I'm bloody old)
Looks like it's expired now?
Not sure if the "humour" is appropriate when the Civil war was a fairly brutal and vicious war…
