Earlybird Parking for $8 in Melbourne, $9 Adelaide, $15 Sydney, from $12 Perth @ Wilson Parking

SUMMER17

Similar to last year, Wilson Parking is offering $8 early bird parking in Melbourne, $9 in Adelaide, $15 in Sydney, and from $12 in Perth, until January 27 using code SUMMER17.

  • Doesn't appear to be a specific time, I tried 9AM to 11PM in Melbourne and that worked fine.
  • At some parking locations, there is a 50c booking fee. No fee at Flinders Gate in Melbourne, 50c at Barangaroo Point in Sydney, no fee 175 Liverpool St in Sydney .

As a test booking I picked Jan 23 9AM to 11PM for Flinders Gate which is close to the Australian Open. $8. However, keep in mind parking at Yarra Park is also $8 so no savings albeit you'll probably avoid traffic on Punt Rd. and entering Yarra Park. Myki daily fares are $8.20.

Normally, Flinders Gate is $15. Nearby 300 Flinders Secure Parking is $14.

  • Typical Sydney, always the most expensive

  • Thanks, saved me $30.

A great deal in the more expensive parts of Sydney CDB priced somewhere between $25 - $40. Not so much a deal in the cheaper parts though.

Just remember this is Early Bird parking. Don't get caught out paying for full price which could be up to $70 - $80. Get the conditions right:
    - Entry time.
    - Validation.
    - Exit time.

    Also this is pre-booking.

  • brisbane, $56

  • Epic deal. Thanks OP. I usually pay $15 but this is enarly half price!!!

  • OP not sure if you want to add this into the deal but Brisbane does have $10 earlybird parking as well. Just received an email from Secure Parking - the code is slightly different - SUMMEREB17 - it is available at the following:

    BRISBANE CBD
    Wintergarden
    Parkade
    Emirates House
    Central Plaza 1
    MacArthur Central
    Queens Plaza
    140 Elizabeth Street
    200 Mary Street
    Post Office Square
    ROMA STREET PRECINCT
    Brisbane Transit Centre
    Hotel Jen
    Makerston House
    Mercure Hotel
    SPRING HILL
    Novotel Hotel
    67 Astor Terrace
    55 Little Edward Street
    FORTITUDE VALLEY
    Chinatown
    Valley Metro
    McWhirters
    388 Brunswick Street

It is Secure Parking and not Wilson though so maybe belongs in a different post

Probably worth posting that as a new deal.

Wonder how the $10 compares with this promo.

Not trying to ruin your deal OP (and I'll probably get negged into oblivion for this) but just in case anyone else would prefer knowing rather than not: Wilson Parking and Wilson Security are owned by the same company and the latter runs security on the Manus Island detention centres. Lots of reports of abuses and cover-ups such as this one. I don't park at Wilson complexes solely for this reason.

    • +1

i primarily hate Wilson because they once gave me a $65 "infringement" claiming i didn't have a valid ticket. my dashcam also caught their dropkick inspectors interfering with my car. took a photo of the valid ticket still in my car, along with the dashcam footage and disputed it. got a letter a few weeks later saying it's been "waived."

not to mention their security guards are slack and unprofessional.

that Manus Island doesn't help either

      • +1

Had to join just to post my similar experience with Wilson parking. Parked in one of their car parks from 11am with 2 hours free. No ticket but a few weeks later a $65 infringement notice that I entered at 8.00am and at 10.04am was ticketed. Impossible given I was dropping kids off at school at 8.45am (stat dec) and my appointment was at 11.30am. Obviously a scam because if I received the infringement then and there, would have kept the receipt but who keeps it a month later.

Now debt collectors after me. It's going through legal avenues as first Wilson claimed it was a valid ticket (no evidence mind you of the times) with an overstayed welcome, now claiming no ticket at all even though they took a photo of my car with the ticket but not close enough to read the time. Stated they would look at their cameras as well and if they can't find any evidence, would waive the fine but guess what, rescinded on that.

Avoid them as much as possible or ensure you always keep proof even weeks later - they are scammers.

        • that's why i run 2 dashcams while parked, take a photo of my car with the valid ticket clearly displayed, and keep every ticket for a year. can't ever be too careful with these Wilson crooks.

LOL that is the the most ridiculously long bow to draw.

Probably fake reports of abuse on Manus (like most garbage reported by the ABC), therefore don;t park in Wilson car park?? HAHA! This post made my day. People will believe anything the abc says….

      • +2

Even if the reports of abuse are fake (which it is actually highly unlikely, given the volume, frequency, and credible origins of them - reported by many major news outlets, not only ABC), I find the indefinite detention program itself objectionable enough to avoid financing their operation, directly or indirectly. It's actually a very short bow, basic ethical consumer habits really.
In any case, you are, of course, welcome to park in Wilson facilities yourself - my comment was just intended to be a PSA for those who might want to know.

I support the offshore detention of illegal economic migrants, so all the more reason to park with Wilson. Thanks for the info.

        • +1

@Skramit: it's not illegal to seek asylum but thanks for playing

  • Thanks! Wish I had seen this before I left for work this morning..

  • Cool deal!

  • Great Deal OP!! Thanks!!!

No booking fee for Darling Quarter Sydney :)

  • This showing as 'sold out' in Melb. This morning.

    • Sorry, I'm not sure I understand. What is sold out?

      • A number of carparks listed 'sold out' - and would not let me book. However found one in the end ( a bit of a walk but hey )

I booked and paid for a park at the Park on Franklin car park in Adelaide. The instructions were to insert my credit card when entering and leaving. I followed the instructions to the letter but I have now been charged $16.13 plus the $9.00 I have already paid. I tried calling the company twice but after going through about 5 menus it eventually goes to a number that just rings out. Not happy.

    • Not sure with Wilson but Secure Park you use their PIN they sms and email you so when you rock up you use their digit panel as oppose the ticket/credit dispenser.

      • That is how I thought it would work but Wilson seem to be different. I had to register my credit card and then use the same card at the gate, except it didn't work. I finally got through to them and I had to email them the receipts so they can "review" my case.

    • This happened to me too (same car park) - TWICE!

currently trying to get the amounts refunded and will let you know how I go.

  • Does not seem to be working in a couple of WA parking I tested

Promo Code - The promotion code is not valid

    • just read the website.
"This offer is strictly limited and ends Friday 13th January 2017." - For WA

  • Still no refund from Wilson. It might be time for a credit card chargeback.
