  You'd be insane to use a 3rd part dodgy charger on DJI batteries. Way to easy to overcharge and damage

    From what I've read the smarts are in the batteries themselves, meaning the chargers are basically 'power supplies'. Not sure about other DJI products though.

    nah you are pretty safe, the batteries are smart, the charger can be dumb, I've used plenty of third party chargers with my Phantom batteries.
