  • Cool, got some friends that will appreciate this.

  • since this place is in London, anyone know if they are legit?

    • yes they are legit.i have ordered Nier for ps3 and xbox360 and recently this hard drive.

  • yeah ok let's give this a shot…

  • 3D-Authentication failed. This vendor's rules require a successful 3D-Authentication.

    • -1

wats that?3d authentication.i have never heard or been thru that process?tony jst create a normal account with them..that wuld help.

  • doesn't like my credit card… because it's not a major bank

    • pay it thru paypal.

  • Doesnt work for me. Paypal is not accepted. Foreign credit card also not accepted. Sigh…..

  • Anybody get a successful transaction (other than the OP)?

  • Where does $81 delivered cost show on web site? All I see is 52.75€ or £42.85 and no sign of any mention of delivery costs overseas?

  • delivery is extra 42.85+4.80£..it comes up once u go into ur account and checkout.

  • Worked out to about $85 after credit card fees for me, just got an email saying it's been shipped too!

  • not a bad deal i got mine a while back for 66 posted

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NEW-250Gb-HARD-DISK-DRIVE-HDD-XBOX-36…

    • Yeah, but that's just a homemade version (you buy an empty case for $10 from Dealextreme then put your own 250GB 2.5" HDD inside, then sell on Ebay and profit). Nothing wrong with that, just be aware you have no warranty if it breaks.

To the people having issues with purchasing with a credit/debit card.

3D authentication failed means that you'll need to have a Verified by Visa password or a Mastercard Securecode depending on which card you have to complete the transaction.

Problems may arise when purchasing from the UK as they do not recognise out our Visa Debit cards and Debit Mastercards. When making payment you should select the card type as a credit card, not a debit card and the transaction should go through

    • Hi datty, I couldnt find any place to select the type of card.
After my address details, it asks for the card number and dates, etc, but no card type choice.

      • I can't seem to pinpoint it either.

Generally when I deal with UK companies online or when I speak with people who have bought from the UK, changing the card type generally does the trick.

For some reason this website doesn't seem to allow selecting the card type, so probably best to send them an email to see if they have another solution, if not then looks like you'll have to go through paypal.

        Hope that helps.

  • Deal extreme has them for US $55.68 inc shipping

Be careful with dealextreme and the ebay hdd's as many of them are fake, if that bothers u.

      • dont care if its fake had mine for a while now and no probs yet

        • would buying a fake one cause issues when using xbox live or updating your xbox?

    • +2

I'd rather pay an extra $25-$30 and get a genuine one..

  • It's worth noting that the fakes on eBay are missing Partition 2 of the real 360 hard drive. Partition 2 is what enables the 360 to play original Xbox games. However, you can find the necessary data on various… less than reputable websites and stick it onto your fake eBay hard drive with a program called Xplorer 360.

At this price I'd rather pay the extra for a real one, though. An eBay drive with Partition 2 is all but identical, but there's always the chance that Microsoft will break the cloned drives through an update some day (or maybe just ban users with them).

  • Price seems to have jumped to 52.75 pounds. As opposed to the 42.85 pounds which is still promoted on the site.

52.75 plus delivery works out to about $105, which is still insanely cheap for a genuine xbox hard drive!

    • the price is still the same,52.75 is in euros..so its still the 81$ delivered.cheers

    • Yeah, my mistake… I saw the UK flag blanked out and the Euro flag coloured and though I must have been in Pounds, but the logo is indeed Euros.
I can't successfully pay though, seems new accounts can't pay by anything but a 3d verified credit card.

  • Superb deal either way :)

  • It is always advisable to pay by Paypal as you do not have to give your credit card details to anyone.
Also if you google "how to upgrade xbox hard drive", there are other ways to upgrade your xbox hard drive.

      Except PayPal …

  • For me it was 42.85 pounds but once you create an account,
it becomes approx. 52.75 euros. Still cheaper than getting
    it in Aus.

    • hey jaz 42.85 pounds = 52.75 euros so its still for the same price.
