Thanks
No need for "AUD" Good Guys tend to to have prices in Aussie Dollars ;)
ha ha good point :)
Would someone recommend this one or the dell with the SSD for $350?
I just want it for light browsing and occasional use of word.
Both will be more than enough. The Dell's CPU is on average about 20% ahead of this. (Source.) Also has Wireless AC.
If you can put up with the smaller screen, the Dell would be my pick due to the SSD, but this is more than enough if you want a larger screen and less cramped keyboard.
Thanks legend
I also ended up going to the Dell for $350. 4% Cashback and GST overseas brings it to almost $300 level. Good enough for my relative overseas. Cheaper than buying it from Hong Kong..
bought the dell when it was 320 on ebay. The screen pretty bad for my liking.
Saw this tonight and the screen was much better but it was pretty heavy without the battery. However it came with the DVD drive.
It was also slower on boot up compare to the dell due to the SSD.
No mention of the screen resolution. 1024 x 768?
1366x768.
Also has an HDMI out and a network port.
In a store to buy one now.
can do a price match @HN and use amex cash back if u still have that. spec in detail in this link
http://www.harveynorman.com.au/computers-tablets/computers/lā¦Had a quick look, it's not available anywhere in Brisbane :( Not sure if they price match online?
Yeah they do via the chat function. Need to be on a smartphone though
Need to be on a smartphone though
What? Why? Doubt it.
@PainToad: why don't you give it a try and get back to me
@haydent: For everyone's info I purchased this online (desktop) with a price match at HN to get the Amex cashback. Total was $304.95 delivered minus $100 = $204.95 delivered.
I feel very professional. Thanks for the heads up @bestdealsonly
Edit: today is the last day for HN cashback if anyone else is waiting to strike.
@Tafe: unless you have two cards of amex it seems to once use purchase, Moot in 3 hrs though
I had this laptop. I can vogue for it, for this price and size that's a great deal. Hands down.
Amazingly cheap!
The CPU actually has 4 cores… that's incredible.

The web site has the apology that it is no longer available. It is interesting to ponder of there was sufficient stock for expected demand from multipromotions. We are out of chips š would you like gems.said with a smile and evil glint in eyes.
Store in title, and nice first post.
