Xbox One S 2TB Console + 3 Games + 4K UHD Movie $449 @ EB Games

570

Looking for the cheapest price possible for an Xbox One S I stumbled across a "cheapish" 2TB model.
Now this isn't for everyone, most people should just wait for another $279 500GB Console + Game deal and buy an external HD for more storage. If however you want a large internal storage option then this is the cheapest I have ever seen it.

$449 gets you:

  • Xbox One S 2TB Console White
  • Halo 5 Guardians - Disc
  • Halo: The Master Chief Collection - Download Code
  • Titanfall - Disc (Yes the original that is probably free now)
  • Your choice of one of the following 4K UHD Blu-Rays - Batman Vs Superman, The Lego Movie or Mad Max Fury Road

In store and online while the Boxing Day sale lasts.

This should be the base size. It only took 7 games to fill up the 500GB model which is pathetic.

Just got the 500G with 4 Games (BF1, Halo MCC, Halo 5 and The Divisions) + 1 Movie for $399 on boxing day… So sad… Should have waited…

    • You can just plug in external storage by the USB

1tb should be base size. No excuse for 500gb (330gb usable iirc) though.

    • I have over 20 games on mine

    • halo 5, one game take 90Gb

    • I can understand the rationale of the 500GB model as a box for those who want a 4K Blu-Ray player and have little to no intention of playing games. The 500GB Xbox One S can be found for cheaper than a standalone 4K Blu-Ray player.

  • So basically $449 for a 2TB console. The games are a swing and a miss

    Why Halo :(
But pretty good deal I guess

  • I bought the 500gb console for 280 off scumtree and a 2tb hdd for under 100
no brainer to be honest, velcro stripped the hdd to the console securely and I am happy as larry.

Yeah given recent prices I think the 500GB console + an external is the better buy. The included game lineup here is pretty lacklustre in terms of value…Halo MCC and Titanfall can be had around or under $10 often enough and Halo 5 isn't worth a whole lot more. Not to say they are bad games, but none are worth a lot and the original Titanfalls online community isn't great last I heard. I think you'd be better with the sequel.

Given you could get a 500GB with the Halo titles and movie for $299 recently I'd go that way and buy an external to take you past 2TB unless you particularly don't want an external drive.

    • Damn $280 for the One S is a steal, nice job.

      • brand new minecraft edition

  • Any good 500gb deals going that can PM at HN

    • Same here, I need to spend my Amex credit on something!

    • no one is doing the 500gb deals that were pre-christmas, it's rather annoying. You're looking at $100 more ($278 for bf1 500gb one S) for something comparable. I ended up buying from gamesmen which most likely isn't price matchable, $350 for bf1 500gb one s with dishonored 2, fallout 4 and battleborn. $330 without dishonored 2.

      • Yeh they wont match gamesmen due to it only having one store HN is pretty shit at doing a PM

  • great deal, I wonder how much for trade in of the xbox one (1st gen) 500gb with kinect, mic and original controller + box? (anyone know??)

    • Box won't matter. Without Kinect I think the trade is is $130 plus whatever your EB loyalty card bonus is (depends on your level).

Kinect would get you a bit more, but not massively so. If you ever use Kinect you can opt to keep it though…you aren't required to trade it in. Via MS you can order a free adapter so that you can use it on a new model(make sure you note the consoles serial number before doing the trade in as you'll need it for the forms)

      • On Level 2 with about 2000 or so more carrots required for Level 3…. $130 isn't much at all considering it is in excellent condition compared to the pre-owned stuff they sometimes sell… might as well sell it on gumtree, I got the original pack a few years back which was the XBox One 500gb + Kinect + 1 controller + mic, I want to offload it with some games… hopefully get around $250 for it

I sold Xbox One 1st gen 500GB + fallout 4 for $370 just a couple of months ago. $130 is a joke right.

        • @joeno:

thats a great price you got… I want to sell mine with 4 games - Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, The Crew, Sunset Overdrive and The Hunger Games Catching Fire blu-ray, wonder if I get around $300 for that?

Did you sell it on gumtree or ebay?

        • Gumtree. Yeah that's a good price. Value's dropped last couple of months due to XBS and price drops.

  • not much lucky to get 200 for just the console and controller at cashies

so maybe 250 if you're lucky

  • So there is ps4 slim 500gb no games for 319 PM at HN or xbox one 1tb with fifa (prob wouldnt play) for 369 not sure which one to get dont have 4k tv either yet.
