Thank you for choosing Expedia.com.au.
Sincerely,
my question is, are they legally allow to do this when every was confirmed back in november?, and if any other ozbargainer have similar experience and what recourse that they take in this situation? it's ludicrous they cancel 1 month late when everything already confirmed..
I think it is legal as often flights are sold even before they have civil aviation approval and in many cases, things are genuinely beyond the control of Expedia. Their lawyers would have a lot covered in the T&Cs.
They say they wish to discuss alternatives. You have some bargaining power. Find that ozbargain tradeup / crossgrade :)
