Wow, this or Surface Pro 4 @ 899 ?
https://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers-tablets/tablets/microsof…I'm more inclined towards Surface pro, as for 99 I can get a pen too :)
But u gotta pay extras for the keyboard as well, whereas lenovo 900s just comes with it. Also Lenovo have 2x the storage as well as 2x the ram.
Surface Vs Yoga
M3 vs M5 processor
4gb vs 8gb ram
128gb vs 256gb SSD
and surface Keyboard extraThe resolution on the surface is better, but at this screen size I can't see the difference.
For me this Yoga is a better deal.
Good first post snickers
Could I suggest rather than comparing specs you consider your needs and what you really want to do with the device first.
For example, note taking and inking is my primary use and I also enjoy having it in tablet format when not at work and lounging at home. So regardless of specs, the inking experience of the surface pro and its form factor make it ideal for my needs. If those things were secondary though and I more or less needed a laptop than the form factor and specs of the yoga would be better suited.
Agreed. I own an SP4 and loved it, but when work gave me the choice of another Surface Pro or a Yoga 260, I went with Yoga and have no regrets. The keyboard is far superior, and being able to go from laptop into tablet or tent is very useful. That being said, I needed a laptop first and tablet second.
Damn cheap for such a good laptop. It's design and quality is one of the best.
Dhalsim approves of this laptop.
Yoga fire!
Yoga.. flame…
How do you get the eftpos card?
You can't was for the 710 and 910 models only
Is this the best laptop for a $1,000 budget?? General browsing & streaming use.
You can do far better.
But it's easily one the best 2 in 1 price.
The E470 and E570 often pop up around that price and are good value:

I believe the yoga 910 is eligible for the $100 cashback, but the 900s is not specified. Could someone confirm?
Tried to order, but now out of stock.
Confirmed with chat no further stock will be added
No Stock for the Product 80ML000LAU.
Is this better than an iPad Pro?
Just like the 910 to get a hefty discount then I'll bite.
Guys I need some help. Would you Buy this laptop or a barely used dell xps 13 (9350) 4K LCD, Core i7-6500U, 256GB SSD (immaculate condition) for $1000?
Xps13. Though i think the yoga is a bit lighter and thinner.
xps
The dell.
I use a laptop more based on it's performance so the shorter battery life and heavier body wouldn't be a major factor in my decision.
You may have other priorities so asking what someone else would do is counter productive hence I spelled out my reasoning to give you an idea what to think about.Xps definitely. But how did you get offered a dell xps 13 with those specs for $1000?
Yeeeah my thoughts too. Is this company immaculate condition or gumtree she'll be right immaculate condition?
So did anyone manage to buy? This is damn cheap!
Added but comes up as no stock. :(
Possibly try going back on you browser, then forward again. Lenovo seems to save stock when you add to cart and has a timer.
That's what happened to me. Was able to possibly get one of the last ones.
EDIT: You can't even add to cart anymore. The button's a washed-out blue rather than a normal bright one and you're unable to click. At least for me, not sure if it's IP address specific or something of the like.
I did. But I think it was some sort of glitch. Or another person didn't checkout after they added to their cart.
At first came up as no stock, then tried again and was added to cart but a message popped up as well saying a mistake in-cart asking me to call them. I can't call them, it was after hours. Unable to continue, refreshed, went back then forward again, error message went away but listing as full price. Tried applying coupon code, didn't worked, tried again all caps, worked. ……Now the cart is genuinely listing it as 0.00 total.
Proceeding forward, still listed as free. O_O All the way to the last step, I click 'place order' then…..
"Sorry Paypal is not available now. Please try again or choose another payment method." And the price has changed back to $999.
I do. A couple times. Doesn't work. Then I try the card payment, still has this unbelievable but awesome total $0.00. Card payment works, but the payment has changed to the correct $999. I had to wait for the email confirmation for longer than usual and I notice an email from PayPal a few minutes ago for a Lenovo laptop. I finally get an email confirmation what seems like 10 minutes after I got the 'Thank you' and order number.
And presto! I believe I got a Yoga 900s for $999 finally, and strangely. I'm hoping I didn't buy two. Pretty sure I didn't.
If you did buy two, I'm sure you'll find plenty of willing buyers in the above comments section.
I smell bait n switch ;)
price gone up by 50%.
from live chat:
Norman,
I am sorry this machine is out of stock now.
7:11 pm.
It may come back in stock before 30th December.
7:11 pm.
Please sign up with Lenovo, you will get updates on upcoming models and upgrades.I was able to place an order after it went out of stock…I had a tab open in my browser with 900s added to the cart and timer..try your luck if you still have it open
Were you able to get at $999? The price has changed to $1,499, ending 30 Dec. But the buttons still a washed-out blue and I, personally, can't add to cart. Can anyone else confirm?
i added it to cart while it was $999 so i got it for the same price.
nice deal.
