  • All I wanna have for Christmas is another Groupon sitewide deal. :)

    • +1

      The mysterious 20% off sitewide that this OP speculated yet never came true? Or the daily 10%/15% off sitewide deals..

  • I havent used it yet but Kmarts home brand of similar filter jug setup is $15 for the jug (+1 filter) and the filters are 3 for $15 -> similar price as this deal but normal price at kmart

    • A little difficult to compare a German quality name Brita to KMart brand

      • +1

        its easy

        does the kmart one come with free aluminium traces added to your water after using it?

        if not then its already superior to the brita

        • Woah I did not know this. Do you have the sources for this ?

        • +1

          @Jared17: Might be this one

          @johnjones8:

          Unless they provide detailed factual evidence of tests performed, anyone can write an article and make unproven claims

        • @johnjones8: thanks. Was suspecting the site owner had shares in the company he highly recommended but there was more than one. Never heard of them though.

      • He's right.
        Some tests showed the Brita filter actually added aluminium to the tested water,presumably from the cartridge.

  • My basket comes to $33.50 with code applied?

      • Starting to feel like a lot of effort for a $30 water jug.

        • @TheOneWhoKnocks:

          I prefer the tap water. If it wasn't safe to drink then they wouldn't pipe it into my house.

    Why does one need a water jug anyhow? I just put a glass under the tap and turn it on

    • There had to be at least one person.

    • +2

      Why does one need a glass even, can just use your hand under the tap and drink

    • This question applies to most ozbargain deals. Buy first ask later.

    • The 'impurities' in tap water are in our food anyway. It's not like we filter our food…

    • Because our old fashion sink is tiny and very low, so hard to refill glasses. A jug makes everything easier.

      • +1

        How do you fit a jug under the tap then?

  • I don't have enough room on my phone to download the app :( Wish they would make it available to all. The other sites aren't forcing us to use their app and probably don't even have apps

    • What's the other site?

      • The other daily deals sites like Living Social, Scoopon, Cudo…
