Where's the deal? Wii's have been $259 for ages.

  • that really isnt a very good deal compared to some of the bundles retailers are dishing out

Maybe, so why not share an instance?

In any event, i thought some who may still have their SS $20 discount voucher and also perhaps bought thru MoneyBackCo (2%) might have been able to save an extra $24.?? off

i rather not buy bundles as they are usually full of crap games or accessories.

There are instances where you can sell off or swap the games and accessories and end up with a very cheap product - the Myer bundle comes to mind.

This is not however one of those instances. :D

Found it cheaper at Rebel Sport. $210 @ Bondi Junction Westfield. I posted this yesterday on Whirlpool forums. Aka BloodyDemon there

    From a reputable company:
    http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/4c386dc50174431…
    Wii for $248

I won't neg but just dont think its so much a deal that it requires a code to "unlock"

This is normal price rather than a great deal.

  • Not a good deal

Normal price…nothing special about this deal!

I bought a Wii at Dick Smith yesterday, $289 bundle with Avatar, Alice in Wonderland, Puzzle Kingdom & Cursed Mountain

Avatar & Alice in wonderland aren't on JB exclusion list, went to cashies and bought Lego Indiana jones for $15, and traded the three in for Super Mario Galaxy 2

    • Well done, this is why bundles are generally better, provided you are prepared to wait for a good bundle to come along.

  • I got my Wii last week at JB Hi-Fi for $256. I got them to price match the Toys'r'Us catalogue at $259.99, but I guess since I got a Band Hero and MarioKart, they dropped it a little more. Overall, I got a great deal. I found it easier to ignore the bundles and just tell them exactly what you want and work the numbers.
