I was looking for something fun to replace my petrol based rc car which cost me $800 and since I burned out an engine on my drone and have to wait until after christmas. This looks cool for the price, Since I brought that drone from lightinthebox i'm not underestimating these r/c products, they seem durable, might be good to crash around a bit or great for kids and i'm hoping you can just add a larger battery like the drone to run it a bit longer or buy more batteries I guess since 8 minutes is a bit short but for under $50, can't go wrong really

has a video as well

btw: is this a good rc car for a 4yr old kid? looking to buy a present for my little cousin,

This would be a good starter rc car I think, anything more powerful i.e. 45 km/h and above they tend to die easier when you crash them into a tree

  • Great price and should make many folks happy.

  • I'd just like to further mention, I like my r/c products, my first r/c I brought was a traxxas nitro and if you don't get the fuel ratio right it becomes an expensive hobby, these brushless electric ones seem the way to go, cheap replacement motors

    • Just grabbed one other site didn't have the white one thanks for the heads up last one I had was if I'm not mistaken was called a frog my mate had the hornet :)

Had a Hornet. Then a Grasshopper II. Tamiya rocked.

        • Hornet can be had at costco. I think they are selling around $170 auburn

Can be had for $28.84 delivered (albeit slowly) at Gearbest (if Gearbest are the devil then I apologise for my post and guess I should start praying my parcel will arrive, hopefully in a timely manner)

I just bought two - they look pretty awesome for the price. Cheers!
