This is your opportunity to get the classic, original Elite from 1984 for free.
For the young generation used to brilliant graphics this is probably not the game but for those of you who are a bit older, this will be a trip down memory lane.

Edit: Thanks to "thelastnoob" we know the following is included in the package:

Package includes a disk image of the original Elite for BBC Micro B; BeebEm, a BBC Micro and Master 128 emulator that enables you to run BBC Micro software on your PC; and instructions for getting started with both BeebEm and Elite.

    Wow.. original wireframe version. Thought it was the much later redone polygon version (ELite Plus) for the 16bit era (PC/ST/Amiga)

          The first is a different store and I am not sure if you getthe same package and version.

          The second is the same store but I still have no info on whether it is free once in a while (such as the freebies on Indiegala etc.) or whether the have been free for the whole five years since the reddit post.

          The fact that there is a price mentioned would suggest to me that at other times it is not free and hence it is not a freebie all the time.

          @Lysander: Free since September 2014. Was done in celebration of the games 30th anniversary.

          If you ever work with shopping cart software you'll find that a price is required. If left blank then it defaults to 0.

    I never could get the hang of this - I always crashing trying to dock.
    It wasn't until a mate got me a docking computer that I actually got anything out of this game. Then it is quite fun.
