Do you have a link to the game for $22? or wasnt it posted as a deal? i could find many deals for hitman and didn't find any for $22 i would i bought for that price.
Wasn't active here at the time those deals were on so not sure if anyone posted them. I saw them on Reddit GameDeals.
Also, it appears that always online DRM has been removed or addressed in some form in a patch so ignore what I said about that. It might be all good now. Will give the game another go on the weekend :)

$35 for Hitman is too much. I paid AU$22 from the GameStop sale ~3 weeks ago and I feel even that was too much considering the server issues with the game.
I don't understand why they had to force always online DRM for a single player game. It's not exactly a great experience when their servers are constantly crashing. Can't even save your progress after getting disconnected.
There was also another sale only days later which worked out to ~AU$20 so I wouldn't be surprised to see more sales coming up in the near future.
