Awesome suitcase. Big size - great for international travel. Good price. My understanding is that the dimensions of this bag exceed the limit for most airlines however I have never had any issues as long as the weight is below the limit.

There are so many versions of Samsonite at different prices. Can anyone tell me how this compares to the others in terms of price vs. quality?
Similar to all the other lite cases in terms of price and quality. I think the Firelite in blue has been discontinued.
This and the other Samsonite expensive hard case suitcases are all made from the same "Curv" material. They are just different sizes and styles. Strength wise they should all be the same. From the Samsonite website: "We have several collections featuring Curv technology; Lite-Cube, Lite-Locked, Firelite, Cosmolite and Lite-Biz."

How r the wheels in this one in comparison to the crappy wheels in cosmolite
I have never had any issues with mine after many overseas trips. Never owned a Cosmolite so cannot compare.
I own a cosmolite and never had an issue, you may got the bad one though
