+1
great for those that carry deep fryers around
Hash-browns taste better when they are pan-fried
Bull-swizzle they do. Even oven is better than pan-fried but nothing beats deep fried.
$2.90/kg at Woolworths
$2.65/kg at Aldi http://allprices.com.au/seasons-pride-golden-hash-browns/
Lol, have a +1
Dutch Cream Potatoes at Woolworths $1.34/kg http://allprices.com.au/potatoes-dutch-cream/
Anyone for frozen French fries for US $1/ton?
https://m.alibaba.com/product/50027937975/Delicious-IQF-froz…
@Verse: Anyone willing to go halvsies on one with me?
@Verse:
Those fries look just a little dodgy…
@clse945111:
That's the point haha
@Verse: lol is this fo real? I would seriously do it.. it's potatoes and starch unless they put rat pesticides in there what could go wrong?
How many hashbrowns usually in a bag?
You are not paying for the hash brown, you are paying for the convenience
Just sell convenience without the product = profit?
Why do so many people compare apple to oranges?
How can you compare a cooked one to a frozen one?
Obvious the frozen one would be cheaper because you have to cook it yourself.
This is for those who don't have the time and ain't at home and want a quick snack, this is perfect for them.
Oh really? I usually freeze my hashbrowns from hungry jacks & have them later. Buying pre-froezn saves me heaps.
Any update concerning Savas's canine companion?
She is still on the drip line, but getting more energy. Still no idea on the extent of damage, when stronger they will x-ray her.
That sounds hopeful. Keep us informed.
She came home today, doing very well!

@Savas: Very good news.
Still too expensive at $1 for what it is
Can we price match at mccas?
Are these only available for breakfast or all day like mcd's?
Brekky only.
If you're really craving one (albeit expensive) ask for a hashbrown cheeseburger plain no bun no meat no cheese and you're left with a hash brown 😂
HAHAHAHA does that really work? and how much would this hashbrown be in this scenario?
Ah, this reminds me of the reverse McD when I asked for a small serve ice cream in a McFlurry cup with added M&Ms and got it for 1/4 of the price of an actual McFlurry.
Only until 11am, sorry to disappoint.
Haven't they been $1 for 12+ months?
No they were $1.50 a few weeks ago.
which isn't $1
*edit, read comment wrong, shot my mouth off
My mistake then, they were $1 when I last bought breakfast there but that was some time ago. Wasn't a fan.
Are they less oily than a hashbrown at Maccas at 12pm?
So many spuds in this thread.
Quiet or I'll mash your face.
Hash browns are basically the Vietnamese version of the pork roll.. looks so "cheap" but is actually very super expensive but somehow we still somehow justify it haha lol
$3/kg frozen at coles
