    I have this one,bought for $105 last year(before I learnt Ozbargain).great polisher,but a bit noisy,however i have not used more expensive ones to compare.

    • Am a bit sceptical about Rockwell brand. Was thinking of grabbing one at Wax Wizard for $289 but that looks cheap as well. might give this one a go with results are okay.

      • I was planning on buying the popular DAS6 kit, then I saw this and did a bit of search online, reviews were not bad, great considering the price.I'm not a pro, decided maybe I will start to learn with this cheap da polisher first.
so far used it for 2 cars,it's very noisy and vibration at high rpm.

    • Nice.

Took advantage of the Valvoline cashback, huh? I have a stash that looks a lot like yours.

Lol,half are bought when it was $10 cash back, when the $20 cash back came out I had to chase some loses

  • I got this item from a 'normal price' no promotion etc from Super Cheap Auto around A$ 75.

    Things are getting more expensive..

    • Yep truth.

Is this polisher good for this price?

      • it does the job, I just just it once every couple months, so didn't really reach the point knowing about the durability.

    • When was that?I think it's been over a $100 for at least 2 years now

      • hope it helps, I went to pick it up anyway.

That is a rotary, a very different beast. Dual Action polishers are safe to use for almost everyone, a rotary can very easily burn through your paint if you don't know what you are doing.

Dual Action polishers are more expensive for that reason.

      • It is rotary with VARIABLE SPEED, how much different it is compare to dual action?

        • Completely different. Google 'difference between rotary and Dual Action polisher' dual Action is also known as random orbital.
