Just heard this on the radio and confirmed with a store. Not sure if national so hoping others can confirm. In effect, you're getting a small Big Mac meal for $5.55 or a small Quarter Pounder meal for $5.70 which represents a nice little saving. Enjoy :)

Don't forget the free coronary as well! Extra bargain.
I dunno why you got downvoted. McDonalds is pure trash. You couldn't pay me $100 to eat it.
Some of their new range, chicken and angus burgers are ok. But expensive though.
The classic burgers (Big Mac, Mc Chicken, Quarter Pounder, etc) I agree are trash.
Their fries are the best IMO, at least among fries that aren't seasoned.
Gotta love the neg votes. I'm fairly certain I know the approximate BMI of each of these people who negged.
Please stop bringing your kids to that cesspool. Atleast give them a chance.
While I think the food at McDonald's is total shit, it's fine to eat there if you do so in moderation. And while we're making wild accusations without basis, may I speculate that you're a former or current obese person who blames everything other than yourself for your glutinous/sedentary behavior? This may be a foreign concept to you, but not all of us need to go cold-turkey on fatty foods to compensate for a lack of self-control.
@Tyrx: LOL no. I have never been anything close to anything you have said. But thanks for giving me a good chuckle.
Don't forget the free coronary heart disease as well! Extra bargain.
coronary adjective ANATOMY
1. relating to or denoting the arteries which surround and supply the heart.Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a disease in which a waxy substance called plaque builds up inside the coronary arteries. These arteries supply oxygen-rich blood to your heart muscle. When plaque builds up in the arteries, the condition is called atherosclerosis. The buildup of plaque occurs over many years.
(Didn't neg you, and I realise you were using coronary as slang!)
What about diabetes?! The drink might close the deal for you…
Excellent …..value meal for under $6 sounds good to me ….. Else the regular Price is crazy.
Zinger burger, 2 large fries and a can of pepsi for $6.95 still best deal by far……..
Is that every day price or some kind of coupon?
@lostn:
In the app every day there is a burger combo deluxe (in colonel's table, along with $1 regular chips). It has Zinger or fillet + 2 regular sides + drink for $6.95, plus free regular side & drink for completing the survey (or usually pretending you did).@Miss B: Can you input the free chips and pepsi via the app or do you need to speak to a human when you pick up your order with the receipt?
@banzini:
Need to speak to a human.@Miss B:
Deal breaker. Hate humans.@Miss B:
When I last ordered via the app I didn't get a receipt, do they like to forget to give you the receipt (thus, not being able to get the chips and drink next time) when you order online via the app?@banzini:
I think I didn't when I paid in the app. I pay at the window now. I assume you could ask for one though.@lostn: Exactly as Miss B says below. Order the combo in the app, substitute drink and gravy for reg chips each, giving you zinger burger and 3 reg chips. With the completed survey you get a 4th reg chips and can of fizz. You then ask to make the 4 reg's into 2 large. You occasionally get someone who says anything other than 'sure', just say you get it all the time, and if still no luck ask for the manager, politely of course.
Ask for fresh chips and a decent fillet and you got yourself a damn fine meal………@dlf73: Are 2 large chips bigger than 4 regs? I'm surprised by this. I heard at HJ's two smalls is bigger than one large, and cheaper.
That's very creative tinkering you've come up with. I imagine you get a number of weird looks.
I also think you will die young. Not an insult, or any disrespect intended, but 2 large chips cannot be good for you.
Still, I admire your creativity.
@lostn: Hey, have no idea, but for that price the little difference there may be, I am not too worried.
Well, this 'creativity' has led to me joining the gym and I have not had this meal for almost 2 months now.
It's the old saying, if it tastes good, spit it out, coz it aint good for you.Considering this meal is well over 75% of daily calorie intake, the whole meal is no good for you……..
:)
@dlf73: Just eat it and purge it afterwards like girls do.
@lostn: ha ha, good thinking, but I cannot bring myself to ever do that, unless a large quantity of alcohol is involved, and even then I am like Seinfeld……
Anyone know how long this is going for?
Just moved around the corner from Haberfield Maccas… I hope this is happening in NSW too!
This is what they call bein' hood rich!
Double Quarter Pounder included?
Order normal QP first then ask for extra patty
I don't see why not!
I got the Big Mac with Quarter Pounder patties - they still give u the free combo upgrade!
its been years since i ate maccas. are big macs seriously 5.55 now?
what would you expect it to be? with inflation and that I actually expected it to be higher. Some of their more premium burgers are almost $10 just by itself
Prices vary between stores so won't necessarily be $5.55
His palms are salty, knees weak, arms are heavy, there's mcchicken sauce on his apron already, ronald's macghetti.
His nervous, but on the register he looks calm and happy. To drop patties, but he keeps on forgetting.
What he washed down, the whole crew go so loud, he opens his mouth, but the nuggets won't come out.
His chokin', how, the crew's jokin now
His jokes run out, times up, over, blaow!Hopefully it's nationwide, about to head off for lunch to grab some mcd's at vic gardens.
went to townhall maccas, no such deal… went across the road and got KFC instead, picked one of many receipts lying around on the floor and claimed the free chips and drink with my $6 zinger burger.
that's the most ozbargain thing i've ever heard
That's just a normal Thursday for the true OzBer…
When obstacles are met by Professionalism
did you actually do the survey? or just came up with some random verification code?
I don't believe if their registers even has a place to enter the verification codes lol. Just write a random 5 digit number which starts from 6 or 7 and you would be fine
for $0.95c extra, you could have had 2 more sides and another drink using the KFX Xpress App!
:)
Is this in NSW?
Check the title bro.
?
I think people think that saying 'Vic only?' means it is only in Vic lol. It just means that so far it's only been confirmed in Vic. I haven't heard about it in NSW yet but it doesn't mean it isn't going to happen in NSW. Hopefully we do get it
@em: hopefully :'(
last time this saving was on i definitely gained a few kg. that said, closest maccas to me is in preston so maybe if i ran there i could even out the damage?
Not if you are in Preston…just saying.
hahaha, I'm in Northcote but that is a good point!
Quarter pounder with Big Mac sauce will be the best combination
Great deal, nothing beats the $1.99 hot dog and soda deal with free refills from Costco
Do you just stay there all day and have 10 refills?
If we deduct someones time at the minimum wage, then 2 hours would be around $32, Can you drink enough unlimited refill soda's in two hours to make it worth your time sitting around drinking soda's?
Can you refill the hotdog or just the soda?
I ordered mine with a Fuze tea and I got 5 cents off for the Tea. LOL. Not sure what's going on there? Maybe it's more for larger meals. Tempted to post this as a separate deal.
Why is a quarter pounder more expensive than a Big Mac? Has this always been the case?
Big mac is bigger.
Neither is particularly palatable but whatever.
The 113 grams burger have 1 extra slice of cheese and more 'beef'
The 113 grams burger have 113 grams of meat (before cooked) while the Big Mac only have 90 grams (before cooked) of meat.
:)
It's been a very long time since I've had a 113 grams burger. Is the beef patty bigger/thicker than the two patties on the Big Mac combined?
They never cut the onions thin enough and undercooked them when i last ate a quarter pounder in the 90's (So many better choices now) - have they improved since?
I'm not sure they even pretend to cook the onions. Worst part of a Quarter Pounder, in my opinion.
The onion is an underrated component of a burger. Why not chop up a big onion into stringy pieces and BBQ it translucent and golden to within an inch of its life and then throw it under a patty with melted cheese. So many gourmet burger shops opening up, but so little onion.
They're never cooked for a quarter pounder and they come in a bag pre-cut, so I don't think anything would have changed.
I wouldn't give this company any money regardless of how attractive an offer might be. They are corporate bullies who throw tantrums if they don't get their own way, http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/mcdonalds-sue…
I combined this offer with the Entertainment Book to get an extra Big Mac for free. So I got 2 Big Macs, small fries and coke for only $5.60. Good value… but I feel like crap after eating it. Lol… But still satisfying. Haha
You know you can share it right? That's 4 patties and 4 slices of cheese you just had.
Bro, do you know how pathetically tiny the beef patties are at Maccas.
The one used for Big Mac is only 45 grams (that's before cooking), so it's even smaller when cooked.
Doesn't mean it's less bad for you.
Great deal. Just got the quarter pounder (5.70), extra patty (2.25) and big mac sauce on the side (0.40). That hit the spot.
just saw a tv ad for this in Melbun, no mention of the QP though, only Big Mac shrug Guess they are pushing to sell their shrunken overpriced Macs seeing as they also had this deal back in Jan this year. I miss the days when the Big Mac actually was big, it was about as round as a Whopper, about the same height tho.
Just went back today - looks like it's expired.
Nice additional lunch option
