In store price only at BigW. It is $49 off RRP
Just tried to get Good Guys at Tweed Heads to price match so I could use my $25 TGG voucher before it expires but the Tweed Heads store said they could not price match that price as they would be losing money if they did. I had a moan about their their price match promise a product with same model number with a brick and mortar store 1km down the road but they would not budge.

The reviews for the blender are ok, it is 800W so has a good amount of power for ice and it does come with a lot of cups and bottles for the $50 (even better if you can get it for $25 using a voucher at TGG in which I was unsuccessful)

Should've bought it from TGG then claimed the price difference back here

    • I did think about that.
Less than $50 claims are given as store credit. Not much use to me when I am moving to NZ in 2 weeks.
Also, just too much hassle when the BigW offer was in store and you cannot see online if there is stock in local store, to prove step 2
'We will verify the price is current and that the item is available for immediate sale and delivery'

This deal is still on, I bought it for $25 today at BigW without any voucher.

but the one I bought was the last one from my store.

        • Sounds like an even better deal. I will have to check if there is any left in the my local Perth BigW when I fly back to Perth towmorrow

  • Aren't the Good Guys now owned by JB-HIFI, I would complain to head office

The T&C for those vouchers did mention it's off the ticket price only. Buy it online with the TGG voucher then claim the difference. You should be getting back (89-50)*1.2 = 47 store credit.

The annoying thing with this blender is the two smaller bottles pictured (sports bottles) don't actually fit in the blender - they do, however, fit in the smaller Blitz 2 Go.

I believe you have to blend using the larger 'bullet' style containers and then pour it into the smaller bottles if you want to take it with you.

I have the smaller Blitz 2 Go and it's a little under-powered, so this is a step up; it's just annoying that you can't directly use the smaller bottles as they are a good size for carrying around.

    • Yeah, I heard in the reviews that the Blitz 2 GO was a bit under powered (300W) for anything apart from basic soft ingredient smoothies but owners liked the bottles so I thought this was the best of both worlds but agree would be nice to use the bottles straight but then I think the ingredients would not mix as well.

This is true - I regularly make a juice in the morning with orange, carrot, ginger, spinach leaves and whatever else I have on hand.

If you put too much in then it won't blend as the bottles are quite narrow - with the wider containers this isn't an issue as there is more space for the ingredients to move around.

For $50 I may just grab one as I had been looking at upgrading to something better.
