If you haven't played Codenames you haven't been playing games this year! This game is the bees knees, a wild party favourite which works for any number of players (although I haven't tried more than about 8) and for all ages. It's super popular.

Anyway, this price works out to about $25 AUD which is neat but it's even better if you are getting other things shipped from Amazon which will drop down your price and you'll be loving life.

  how's this game for parties? is it a no brainer sorta party game for the non-gamers i.e. those who don't have the patience for euro style/indepth board games?

  is there a player limit or recommendation?

    Sadly the deal is over BUT in answer to your question - it's very easy to learn and get going. People basically need minimal instruction to get guessing, and I normally get people playing and then explain some of the finer details as the game goes along - but you can be going within 2 minutes.

    Players I reckon 2-8 but more could probably work too.
