Just been through the search for a decent rice cooker.
Its quite hard if you want to avoid Teflon coatings as they all seem to have them and I am not enthusiastic about Teflon flaky chemically rice.
I finally found a good solution, a Korean brand called Buffalo that uses stainless steel for the internal rice pot - they are well recommended.
