OzBargain has turned 10 years old this month, and we are running a special 48 hour sale event to celebrate. Now here's a question for the community.
Where were you 10 years ago, November 2006?

Browsing the web for good bargains but couldn't find any. Getting ripped off by merchants. I'm grateful I can be part of ozbargain now. Thanks scotty!
10 years ago I was on schoolies in Lorne sleeping in a datsun with 3 of my mates trying to pick up babes on the beach
10 years ago I was a bum, 10 years later I am still a bum. Damn it. :)
Somewhere without Ozbargain. Life was tough back then.
Close to the end of 6 months backpacking around Europe.
By this point i had fallen in love with the girl who i would be living and travelling with for the next 4 years of my life before she broke my heart.

Starting med school as a career changer out of IT and lamenting the loss of Bigpond lusers. You know who you are.
November 2006? A long way back… I was struggling with my career at some sort of small company that time. Carried my studies side by side. No parties as I usually save my earnings for the semester fee. Now, I'm a computer engineer, earning much more than expected and looking forward to get married soon. Jesus! there is a big difference in my life in these 10 years. My life has changed a lot. You made me think of the hardest time of my life. Thanks to Lord that my life has brought a positive change in me and my environment :)
I remember climbing out of the bedroom window onto the roof of our newly-bought house, on a balmy November evening, watching the sun go down, tucking into a tub of cookies and cream ice-cream with the woman of my dreams. I remember her laughs, her golden limbs under my shirt, the way she glowed, her sticky kisses.. I remember feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin, the salty breeze on my face, and being blissfully happy, thinking life couldn't get any better… I was wrong :)
I was finishing up my honours thesis in an unemployable topic of interest. 4 months later I still hadn't got a job so I joined up to ozBargain :)
10 years ago? I was thinking to create something like this ;)
On a boat to Australia for the bargains.
Working as a Financial Adviser (and still am today) blissfully unaware of the GFC the following year.
Still blows my mind that the Australian Share market was higher 10 years ago than today.
I joined OzBargain, most likely from Whirlpool ^^
RO and Allstars. All day, everyday.
10 years ago I was on the top ten richest person in Australia.
Ozbargain came along.
Now I am washing car windscreens at the traffic lights saving up for the next bargain……
Just came to Australia as a student to pursue bachelors degree in Ballarat uni….
Completing primary school in a school I had just moved to, desperately hoping all my friends were going to the same high school as me (luckily most did!).
Spent a lot of my spare time posting on Pokemon Forums and playing free MMOs like Maple Story and Runescape…
Yes, back then besides being a primary schooler as you've probably already read above on page 1 somewhere, I also had no internet! Ahhhh, the life without internet……..very tranquil…
I was still studying @ 2006. I'm now a full time software developer
I was working full time while keep checking your blog ! Congrats on 10 years!
