That's (profanity) excellent.
No, they aren't.
But, as they are much cheaper, and with 3D NAND as well (only the Samsung Evo's and this Crucial MX300 have 3D NAND for home use), they (for me) seem to be better value. $155 AUD for this 525GB, vs around $100 more for 850 EVO 500GB.
I don't know if the software they come with is any good though, for copying/migrating the OS to the SSD.
With the ebay 20% off you can get the 850 250gb for under $120.
awesome, thanks OP. Been waiting for a deal on this exact drive for 3 weeks now.
Says $79.79 USD for me? Plus shipping. I wont put Amazon apps on my phone but even with that $5 off that only brings it down to $~74? Or do I have the dumb?
same. it says 79 usd dollars for me, too.
I definitely got it for the cheaper price at 11:30am WST. Actually slightly cheaper that OP as I selected a local Amazon pickup point to collect it from:
From email receipt:
Total Before Tax:$109.67
Estimated Tax:$0.00
Order Total: $109.67
*AUD 152.67
Was that for the 525Gb one though?
Dayum, that's way cheaper than the slower and older Sandisk ones that get posted here all the time.
I had one in my ebay last night from NZ for $85, its now $100..quicker delivery
Anyone know if these Crucial SSD's are better than the Samsung Evo 850 series in terms of read, write and overall reliability/failure rate?
