    laughable saving.
    The prices are ridiculous.

      Then don't buy. Simple.

Based on your silent protest, Ebay and the respective retailers will definitely change their ways. I am sure of it.

      • AGREE!

        • The issue isn't about whether or not Vlaka buys.
          It's blatant misleading sales tactics.
If this chit went down in stores I doubt they would get away with it.
There's a lot of suckers out there not on ozbargain who would fall for it.

Then again look at the whole baby industry - its a farce, everything is marked up as soon as "baby" is in the title.
So…I guess its back to square one.
Each to their own…if you don't do research on price then you lose.

  • Anyone have issue with the payment? I bought ram, in PayPal I applied code, it came from 254 down to 203.20. Checked bank later, was charged 254, seller cancelled for me to rebuy items. But in cart I can't add code anymore, so because I was logged into PayPal (even though I did not tick stay logged in) it put payment through at 254 again…

    Rage!!!!

Then I spend 43 mind on phone with eBay for them to tell me I'll get a refund in 15-21 days of my 20%…

Any feedback on if it will come through?

last eBay sale I'll ever use.

    • yea it is around 15-21 if there is a coupon code used and sometimes it is less

last eBay sale I'll ever use.

      Are you sure?

      • Lol I'd rather gouge my eyes out then make that call again.

  • hmmn

    Rx 480 8gb for $356

Seems okay, anywhere else is about $400 atmo. Only wondering if they going to release the 490 or w/e is next. Have a freesync monitor so need amd

  • Has anyone ever bought from Camera Store Australia before? Do they sell Australian stock or is it grey imports? Looking at buying the Sony rx100. Thanks

    • Australian stock, proper invoice. You can call them.

      • Oh that's good to know! So tempted to buy from here as its $50 cheaper than Ted's

        • I did, already marked as shipped

      • They are FAST. I ordered 17th 10am click and collect to WW/BIGW, today 10am i received email/sms saying i can go pick it up now!

    • Which version ? Camera Store dont stock the Mark V version whereas Teds does

      • I'm looking at the iv version. I just realised that Teds is actually cheaper! Do you know when the v is released in australia. Looks like alot of stores have it as a pre order

I am just posting a big THANK YOU to the guys who together the EBAY SALES GUIDE

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/ebay_sale_guide

Can you search for me some deals on phone x or item y?

Can I ask someone else to find a product for me because I'm too lazy to use the search link?

Is the OP of a eBay sale obliged to help me find a good deal on a product because I don't know how to use eBay's search link?

Should I post comments on an eBay sale without reading this FAQ?

    Absolute GOLD !!

Excellent stuff indeed. Thumbs up :-)

  • Disappointing that no-one is selling Raspberry Pi 3 unless I've stuffed up the search.

    • Just buy from element14 or rsonline.

No fuss and super fast delivery. Usually, next day.

    • I was looking for the same
This is the cheapest I could find (Zapals) - if you don't need it urgently
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/273813

  • Anyone suggest a backlit keyboard? Not for gaming, just everyday stuff. Would be nice if it had media controls, and a shortcut button for the calculator :)

  • No real iphone SE deal either. It is discounted via shopping square which is an oversea (HK) company? I am after AU stock with tax invoice.

    • Yeah those iPhone SE listings are Hong Kong stock.

      Item location:
Warranty Service in Australia, Hong Kong

  • Was looking for a 128GB Sandisk SD Exteme but surprise surprise…. Prices have gone up with PC Byte and Apus….

    • I'm looking at the sandisk extreme pro sdxc. I haven't tracked prices before for this. I was looking at pc bytes tonight for it. How much have they raised their prices by? Is it still cheaper to buy it now or should I wait?

      • This one? It's been $129.95 forever, see this link, whilst you are logged in. There's another listing for $125.95 which is also the same price.

However they aren't great prices, regular price elsewhere starts from $100 up + postage according to staticICE.

You can get it $20 cheaper from Shopping Square $109.90 here which is a good price and after 20% off = $87.96 seems unbeatable. Grab that one if that's the item/size you were looking for.

        • Thank you for the links!! I did see the one from shopping square and it was cheaper than the other listing I saw but I wasn't sure whether they sold genuine ones or not. Seeing as they are a big ebay store, my guess is that their items are genuine. I think I will buy this one. Thanks again

        • @Metamorphosis12:

Yeah Shopping Square are all good with genuine items. They do sell some items that are posted from overseas, however this one is Australian stock, you can see it in the item location. They are a bit better than Futu & PC Byte in some of these items - eg this deal

        • @hamza23:
Thank you for your help, I ended up pulling the trigger ☺

Yay, finally got my GTX 1070. The ASUS for $567 delivered is quite decent.

  • +2

Why there is not comment about the typo (Particpating) on the title? Usually ozbargainers are quick to comment on this :D

    • Fixed

      • That was quick! Thanks :D

    • ROFL, well spotted.

  • any good deals on portable ssd?

    • +1

You could try searching… using the search link in the OP. Then you will know.

If you find something, then you can share your knowledge.

      • -2

In the time it took you to write that you could have found and bought me a portable ssd.

        • +1

And the obvious response to that is… obvious.

Just remember - YOU are the one looking for a portable SSD, not us.

Looking at getting this, the G.Skill Ripjaws KM780 RGB Keyboard. Seems to be cheapest online that i can find, works out $179 Del.

  • Price jacks as usual

  • Mitsubishi - MR-EX562W - $3599 at Binglee. You kidding me. $2800 at Billyguyatts. These snakes.

  • Is this a good deal? around $360 after discount for Dyson Fan
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Dyson-AM05-Hot-Cool-Fan-Heate…

    • I think you mean around $320, code is 20% off $399.

Pretty good price going by past deals, unless you have an AmEx with the Harvey Norman offer saved then it's $299 there. Otherwise seems the best price so far by a bit.

      • Thanks

  • Thank you very much OP - got myself a great deal from IT Global for the Vivoactive HR - $288 reduced to $230 through the deal, and much better than the $300 from JB HiFi.

  • How come the price on the Wireless1 website is much cheaper from the price they had on their ebay ?

    • VOLANS VL-DS30 Aluminium 2-Bay USB 3.0 HDD Docking Station with Clone

    Wireless1 website —- $49
    https://www.wireless1.com.au/volans-vl-ds30-aluminium-2-bay-…

    Wireless1 ebay —- $59
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-VOLANS-VL-DS30-Aluminium-2-Ba…

They participate on ebay 20% discount and increase their price on their ebay store — does is unethical.
    — ebay should ban or reprimand this kind of practice

Any suggestions for a better HDD docking station?

    • No, they didn't raise their prices. Their eBay prices include shipping. Website prices do not.

  • Are there any good deals on mirrorless cameras and lenses? I've been eyeing the A7 and associated lenses but it seems the post-discount amounts are hardly any different from non-participating stores.

    • -1

      Use the search function mate.

      • +1

I have and, as mentioned above, I found no good deals on mirrorless cameras (not dslr). I'm hoping someone might have spotted a deal where I have missed it.

        • +1

Olympus OMD E-M10 mark II of Ted's Cameras has really good price, body only $450 after 20% off and Olympus $150 prepaid visa card

  • Niiice. Uniden UHF radios. OK so $185 at other places on eBay, and $199 at Bing Lee (pretty much RRP). Pretty happy with 20% off though.

    Early Christmas present to me.

  • Htf can this sale have ended already? It clearly states this sale ends on the 24th November 2016 at 23:59 AEST. Not AEDST! Queensland is on AEST Not New South Wales. I just tried to order using this code and it tells me it has expired. Why have T&C's if you ain't going to honour them. I hope the seller Ryda dot com sees things my way.
    Unbelievable!

  • Love these 20%s off.
