Forgive me for being new to the homeloan game but what is o/o?

        • Correct!

  • Offset account?

    • Hi Atlas,

There is an option to split the loan with a variable portion if you would like an offset account. Generally fixed rates do not come with an offset account.

Am I missing something? Why is it such a high comparison rate?

    • When dealing with a broker, you would reassess/renegotiate the most competitive option after the fixed term.

A Comparison Rate when dealing with fixed rates assumes that after your fixed term you will stay with the lender for the next 20 years in this case on their high variable rate.

      • So is it 3.89% fixed (comparison 3.89%) during the fixed period, or are there monthly/yearly fees etc?

        • The interest rate is 3.89% 2 years fixed with a $395 annual fee. with the first years annual fee being refunded to you :)

  • OP, Please provide a contact method such as email or phone number.

    • Where do i post that?

      • Edit the deal and put it in the description.

        • It will not allow me to due to an error. I will add in a post.

        • @InvestmentLoans:

What error? Just hit Edit button at the top of the page and add it in.

EDIT: I've added it in for you.

    Hi Atlas,

  • new loan or refinance in Westpac

    • Can do both with a max loan of 90% including mortgage insurance :)

  • currently with wp, can i change to this one?

    • Yes that should be possible, depends on your overall profile, and to see whether this would save you money.

  • How much max LVR for O/O without LMI?

    • 80% but O/O has different interest rates (3.85% fixed 5 years comparison rate 4.45%)

  • I am not sure Westpac customer service…
I have a very big investment loan over two years, my business support manager "Aaron" never bother to contact me.
I called Southport business center for a question, left a message the manager on leave, didn't return my call more than two months ago.
Terrible customer relation. Only hope to to pay out
    Watch ongoing fees

    Never again from me

    • There is a big difference in service when using a mortgage broker when compared to a retail level at the bank :)

      • +1

If you think you can do better I will call you 2 weeks time. I am about to going away tomorrow morning.
I like to know if there is anything you can do for my loan.

        • Happy to discuss further when you are ready.

    • how big is big

  • Will Westpac accept foreign currency income, and if so which ones and at what max LVR?

    • Foreign income not accepted

      • Dang! If I can't include my amazon referral income stream then no chance of me obtaining a loan.

  • Oh if only LRBAs could be this cheap!!!

  • Wow, very good rate! I just fixed eight loans at 4.15% for three years with St George. But post APRA, I wouldn't have been able to qualify for loans anyway, so I can't switch lenders.

  • This is a very good deal if you're not intending to sell any time soon.

    • Indeed!

  • I don't get it. I'm with Wespac and my variable rate for investment is 4.45% which is considerably higher than the fixed rate here by about 0.6%. Is there a reason not to fix or am I comparing apples to oranges. Thanks.

    • That is quite high love2buy, if you would like send me a private message with your contact details and we will be able to advise the most competitive options available to you :)
