  • Great deal thanks

  • Can anyone recommend this or BF1?

    • +1

Tried both to a degree and they seem really good; tried the BF1 early-access and liked it. TF2 campaign was pretty good and is a huge step from TF1 but havnt had time to do any PVP

      • Honestly I'm not digging bf1.

If you liked battlefront, you will like bf1.

But if you liked bf4 and hated battlefront… its a big change to the gameplay.

Maybe I'm just 'unskilled'… but i find the visual effects over the top (too much dust, smoke, weather effects), limited and underwhelming gun choices, and the biggest thing is all the maps kinda suck… not a single stand out awesome map. They're all equally meh.

If you like newer COD with all the double jumping, titanfall.
Otherwise… bf1 looks pretty, but I cant recommend it.

BF4 still healthy though. and cheap as chips (see the eb games cheapo deal also posted recently)

  • Anything region locked by purchasing through U.S?
Read on another forum that DLC would be locked

    • Xbox One is completely fine, I'd need someone to comment about PS4

      • +1

PS4 only the DLC is region locked.

I think you will find if you bought this version of the game, you will need an US PSN to download the DLC, however good thing that it's all free.

      • The DLCs will have to match the origin of the game disk from my understanding

      • +1

        Thanks, purchased :)

    • for PS4, you will need US PS+ account to play for DLC. Single player is ok on Aus Account

      • Can you play online with AUS PS+?

        • no, DLC is locked to region while disc is region free

        • +2

@devang153: That is actually incorrect. I have many US version games that play fine online using my AUS PS+ profile. You only need the US account to download DLC, even patches download & update using the AUS profile.

        • @Dreamcazman:

My Aus version of Witcher 3 with all the free DLC does not show up when played from my US account but through my AUS account it does. I'm just saying it's not a blanket rule for every game.

Happy to buy this and use my US account which is my main anyway.

  • Anyone know of a good deal on pc?

    ~65 AUD for PC

    CDkeys.com a tad cheaper I think.

Edit: This was supposed to be a response to the post above.

I have no idea about this game but better reviews than TF1 can't be that big an accomplishment :-)

Dammit, this is a great price and is forcing me to break my 'digital only' policy.

    • then you would have at least one game to lend to a friend… or trade in.

    • I don't mind digital only, it just annoys me that a lot of the time it costs the same, when they don't have the same costs involved and you also can't resell it.

Which is kind of the point for them I guess.

      • I don't resell my games so that's not an issue. But yeah, for digital to cost the same, if not more, annoys me. Turned me into a patient gamer though waiting for them to go on sale.

  • All gone by the looks of it.
