Just walked by today the Newtown D'Munchies store on King Street and saw a notice that its 2 for 1 Burgers on Tuesdays and its a regular event each Tuesday.
D'Munchies is on 170 King Street Newtown NSW, and its less than a year old. Looks like they have an interesting menu and marketing, also a nice vibe in the shop.
Sorry but Dean's Diner does the best burgers in Newtown. They don't need gimmicks like this ;)

There are a lot of other great places in Newtown for Burgers. Marys, Moo, Jacks, Burger Fuel. Maybe a matter of personal choice.
