These headphone have garnered some great reviews for audio production and are also one of very few to have such a beautiful retro design IMO. Currently priced at $499 RRP, Co-op have it for $399.95 if you're a member (otherwise it's $449.95). Using the code you get $40 off, and further cashback from Sennheiser Au brings this down to ~$260.

  • Wow. Great price for great headphones. I have the first version. Very very happy. This would be better with the nose canceling. In saying thay, I haven't tried this. I've tried the boss qc, and they're very good (noise cancelling wise)

Yea the reviews have essentially said it's good for planes/libraries etc. But if you're going to be walking on the streets etc you may still hear traffic sounds. And that it's very close in terms of NC to the QC35's.

I think any high frequency sound would be challenging for the best of headphones. Droning consistent bass sounds should be effectively cancelled out though!

        • Don't get confused between noise isolation and noise cancellation. These headphones sound great….but they didn't block out the deepp droning noises that the the Bose QCS do (when I tried them).

  • As bluedez_man notes, these are not the bluetooth cans with active noise cancellation but the wired version. Meant to sound great. Currently $188 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/273625 if you can get the amex deal.

    • This is a great deal, if you have amex, definitely go for this one instead!

  • OP these cans are of the wired variety ie no active noise cancelling

    • Will change accordingly, thanks for that!

  • Can anyone sign up to Coop?
Looks like the sign up price is less then the actual difference lol.
